I was so excited about ordering this box set that I forgot to include Scream (5).
D'OH!
So I placed a new order with both. Hope that someone sees my cancellation request email before shipping both orders. This could be a pretty pricey "oops".
I think most are going to rip the discs to lossless and then put them in storage anyway.
That doesn't take into account those of us who have a stereo that incorporates a CD player. I'm thinking there's a decent amount of us given the prevalence of the "no CD = no sale" mentality (though I don't subscribe to it).
I hate sleeves and only play music as audio files while driving or at work.
Great to have this collection, waiting for the CD release but already added it from Apple Music and sequenced the extra material from "disc 6" into the scores of part 1 and 2 using as a basis the listings on Chrono Score (first 15 tracks from disc 6 are from Part 1 and the others are from part 2): https://chrono-score.blogspot.com/search/label/Scream
Where did you find it on Apple Music? I’m not seeing it anywhere.
Really loving all the new bonus material from the first film!
I know it's early, but does anyone know what the film chronological order is with these tracks added? Thanks in advance.

Of course ORDERED!! Well, the CDs. Will have to do the vinyls at some other point. I think the packaging looks great! And excited to read the booklet! And it unfolds as the Ghostface mask? I didnt quite understand what they meant? Anyways, so awesome!!
EDIT: Oh! Theres an awesome video on their facebook page which shows the Ghostface unfolding. Looks great!

You got your Scream 3 finally!
YEEES!!! So amazingly happy about this!! And all that other stuff as a bonus as well! Oh its such a perfect day!
That packaging is fucking HIDEOUS. Why does Varese insist on these godawful sleeves for their expensive boxed sets, when they're gonna scratch the shit out of the discs over time? Just give us proper jewel cases! I would have been interested in this set, but not being packaged this way.
The majority of boxsets I own use paper or plastic sleeves. Considering how much space they save, it's a very good thing.
Hate the cheap paper sleeves Also the artwork on the sleeves, is that the best they could do? I guess at least it doesn’t have a tall awkward outer box like the Elm Street set.
Yeah - I'm not so bothered by the slipcases but those covers are just... bad. Why not use the original poster art on the fronts and the Ghostface image on thr back?
Let's hope that, unlike Elm Street, half the discs aren't scratched (yes, it was a very real issue with Elm Street) and that the booklet doesnt't drop an entire film in favour of accidentally repeating one of the earlier films.
Elm Street was a great concept - badly executed.
For digital storage and playback I think I'm going to tuck the contents of disc 6 onto the ends of discs 1 to 5 as "bonus" tracks. That way I have cleaner deluxe editions of the four scores.
