I’m interested in buying because it’s such a culturally iconic film, but I’m not the biggest fan of the film, only saw it once, and can’t remember the music beyond simple synthy stuff.

Does anyone more familiar with the music know if there are any specific standout cues? Or how would one describe the musical merits of this score to convince a soundtrack fan to buy it?
For me personally, a very expressive and pleasant cue. Sounds just cool! This alone is worth half the price of the album)
Come on man....The first cue is from the making of dvdrip at the end! The second is the Intro from dvd or blu ray rip Now on The La La Land records ,there will be the original real version in HD Quality.

I really love that cue for the assassination attempt at the nightclub. The part at the end when he takes off from the parking lot - great stuff.
Yeah i like that ....the end of this cue is almost the same than the cue where tony's shoot Hector! I like all cues ...It's my Holly Grail !!! I hope there will be the dance club music havana track (on source music) In the making of, the cues are little different than the movie ... In my opinion in my opinion these are alternative versions
But there is something I don't understand... Why is it written expanded score on the cover??? There has never been a release before apart from a cd with the songs and 2 instrumental tracks but not in the movie version like for example cobra by sylvester levay !
La La Land records released beverly hills cop in 2016 It was a world premiere ....but before that it was a song album with an instrumental track! SCARFACE is a World Premiere and not an expanded score.
This is a dream come true release. To my opinion this will be one of the best releases in a very long time as Giorgio is my number one composer since childhood. Since the original soundtrack only has about 8 minutes of score, I suspect also slightly remixed for the album, I can only hope the LLL expanded release will contain the full (complete) program. I always get a little nervous when the cover says "expanded" instead of "complete".
Anyway I cannot wait for the final tracklist, I hope it will be available anytime soon..

Since "Scarface" includes the original soundtrack album (Beverly Hills Cop didn't) and more material, it's expanded.

Even though we know soundtrack producers never, ever make mistakes, the wisest course of action is to say "expanded" instead of "complete." "Complete" is a promise you could inadvertently break.
