no update about mine either.

I think that we need to wait for some official info regarding orders etc.

If I remember correctly there was also one more re-release or reissue planned by Tadlow but not released as yet. But im not sure what exactly it was because there is not official announcement anywhere.

But im sure it was discussed here some time ago.

Is Tadlow only releasing scores that they have recorded in the past or are they going to return to recording new older scores. With James’ illness and Covid a legitimate pause in the past,do they have plans to start recording again ?

I think it's the cash that is in short supply.

Definitely do not order from Tadlow until there is clear and definitive word that he's active again.

It's no critique of James, but he's got a backlog of stuff and TLDR is just not able at the moment to run his shop at normal capacity.

I had tried purchasing something and after repeated non-replies he finally responded and apologized and refunded my money. It's enticing, he's got a lot of great stuff at good prices, but things are not back to normal.

Any update from anybody about the Tadlow/James situation?
To this day, I still haven't heard about the status of my November order.

I'm afraid not; I would post it here if I had any news.

I ordered a CD over a year ago and when I queried its non arrival was told it was awaiting a reprint (It was 'El Cid', and I've since got it from another source).

Late last year, I made another polite enquiry but never got a reply at all. I know James has had health issues and is probably still trying to adjust to the aftermath, so I took the decision to write the money off, with no hard feelings - after all, he has done so much for the soundtrack community and there's nothing worse for anyone than a long term health problem that I don't want to add to.

But you can still order CDs from the Tadlow website. As orders seem to have little to no chance of being fulfilled at present, surely this ability needs to be disabled? It's only going to cause more problems in the short term.

Anyone knows about orders from Tadlow at this moment?

I’m no accountant or financial analyst but Tadlow Music Ltd is showing as having accounts overdue with the UK Companies House and the last accounts it did file did not suggest a healthy business.

Order with care people.

I have now cancelled my order (from February 16th) via PayPal. I feel quite worried about James and absolutely hope and wish for the best. I have so many wonderful recordings he produced that I greatly enjoy.

I just did the same...

It's a shame. I won't receive my Thriller albums...
Isn't there anybody who's there to help James with his business? is he doing everything alone?

Personally I wrote an email to James a few weeks ago and got an automatic reply saying that he is away from the office for a break and he is back June 6th.

I think we need to wait for some official info from James.

I am absolutely convinced that sooner or later we will find out about Tadlow's current situation etc.

Not necessarily. Tadlow is not the only retail outlet.

Cheers

But a lot of Tadlow and Prometheus releases are now out of print even on sites like Music Box, Intrada etc.

For example "Quo Vadis" is out of print and surprisingly "Ben-Hur" which is one of the newest recording.

Quo Vadis was produced by Tadlow for Prometheus Records I’m pretty sure, so it should be in a different boat.

Understood, but Michael, I could have sworn you'd said it was THRILLER you were waiting for/endquote]

That was me, I think.
I was waiting for Thriller 1 and 2. Volume 2 being my favorite. And this one seems to be harder to find else where.
