Rhino released a 2-CD set of the complete tracks to WIZARD OF OZ, including alternates and outtakes, and a book with lots of text and color photos. This is a wonderful set produced by Marilee Bradford and Bradley Flanagan. It matches perfectly with the full 450 page score published by Omni. Yes, only room for improvement there is the release of the extant stereo masters. Those have only been utilized for the suite on "The Lion's Roar" set and the story and songs CD.

I cast a spell on the industry. It said "No expansions until DADDY LONG LEGS gets a decent release."

I found an audio rip of Camelot on the internets . There’s so much good underscore I’d love to here isolated from the rest of the movie. I once heard Newman's underscore of a soliloquy from this. Sounded wonderful.

I own the Kritzerland Edition of: Chitty Chitty Bang Bang… There is approximately four minutes of unreleased music: That includes the Playback Tracks which feature: 1. The Vulgarian Anthem: 00:50 2. Chu-Chi Face Waltz: 01:35 3. Doll On A Music Box Theme… (Finale Version; when the Jack In A Box Dances): 01:30 Did I miss something? The second part of the 'Main Title' does not count – due to the annoying sound effects. If possible; I call out to La La Land Records / Intrada... anything that is available... I would love to have this rich; thematic score expanded. Especially the music which involves the child catcher! I've always wanted to hear that cue without the dialogue. I would also like to hear 'Lovely Lonely Man'... IN COMPLETE FORM... Those edits on the album release are atrocious. Any chance of releasing this without the songs been spliced up? Kritzerland did not fix that issue... they basically focussed there expansion on the unnecessary Piano Demos. If not; then I would settle to having the complete score to: MARY POPPINS RETURNS! They can't release what isn't there. Unless some other tapes have turned up since, that's all there is. Only room for improvement on the current 2 CD set is taking the "Entracte" from LP masters - it is featured on the German LP. A re-issue of that LP and the German version of "My Fair Lady" would be fine, but I doubt that any US label would do this.

As has been mentioned, very often the full scoring masters don't exist. 20th Century Fox is/was an exception, and I was very proud of the work on Centennial Summer, The Gang's All Here, Stormy Weather and Doctor Dolittle. But projects like those are 3-4 times the work of a straight score, there are often a lot of rights issues to work through, which can make them very expensive, and they don't tend to sell that well for the independent labels.

I would love to see John Barry's and Don Black's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland expanded. Most of the songs were on the original album, but Barry said there were 23 musical segments in the film--many orchestral cues.
