For me personally, the release I hope to see in 2023 is "The Big Country and Beyond: The Classic Film Music of Jerome Moross". It was announced via Tadlow newsletter in 2018.

According to what James Fitzpatrick himself wrote on the FSM forum when it was discussed around 2019 this 3CD box is to contain everything composed by Jerome Moross what was ever recorded by James and all material newly remixed and remastered.

So it is "Big Country" conducted by Tony Bremner with Philharmonia Orchestra and material from two Silva compilation albums recorded in Prague ("Valley of Gwangi Classic film scores" and "Cardinal Classic film scores") and conducted mostly by Paul Bateman (few tracks was conducted by Nic Raine if I remember correctly). In one of the topics here on FSM, James also mentioned that in this box, there will be also released "few little things which never get to CD before" (something like that, it was few years ago so my memory can play tricks on me).

We all know that James struggles with health issues and that's certainly the reason why this release is so delayed.
We all wish him good health and a speedy recovery because his health is the most important.
I hope when James are fine this album will finally be released.

It would be wonderful if the Jerome Moross BOX came out in 2023, but all we can do is wait patiently because the most important thing is James well being.

As always, I'd like to see releases of some rejected scores like Bernstein's A River Runs Through It and Shore's King Kong.

I wouldn't mind seeing a complete version of Jarrre's "The Man Who Would Be King," and perhaps even "Ryan's Daughter" and "Shogun."

What’s missing from Shogun? Didn’t we get a complete 3-disc release from Intrada a few years back?

My wish list is the same as always - Thomas Newman's 'Deceived' as the #1 holy grail, after which anything previously unreleased from Newman and Michael Convertino.

Chances of wish being granted: very low smile !

Every year, someone makes a list like this and every year, we hope that our horse comes in. And then, the next year comes along...

Hope springs eternal!

Truer words never spoken. Don't forget, it's the "same" list every year. We should have memorized each others lists by now.

Forgot to include: Rankin Bass's versions of The Hobbit and Return of the King. Complete with reproductions of the original booklets and linear notes.

Actually, considering what we've got so far this year I'm happy and have no wishes.

So far we got the most magical sounding Harry Potter score since Goblet of Fire (Hogwarts Legacy), 4 fucking hours of The Orville Season 3, Star Trek Picard: Season 3 and last but certainly not least Indiana Jones 5.

And for me it only gets better with Murray Golds return to Doctor Who and the possibility for a Series 10 OST release.

But I would welcome another Berman Trek or Buffy volume...
