Fantastic news! Never thought we'd see this but it once again shows that, really, any release is possible. Never give up hope on those "grails" still waiting out there.

At the risk of being drawn and quartered... Though John Williams has written some of my favorite film music, I won't be buying this. I am not, to put it mildly, a fan of "Toots" in any film score that I've heard his work. No accounting for taste, right? I have steadfastly avoided anything with his name on it. I don't per se hate all use of harmonica: My first Goldsmith soundtrack, Lilies of the Field, is a long time favorite, and features a fair amount of harmonica. Something about Toots's tooting just really irritates the hell out of me. A second reason: With all I've read here in this forum about Sugarland over the years, it seems that it was a brief score, Williams has not been especially proud of it and had been reluctant to allow its release, and he has gone on to do (stated simply) a great number of much better things. I hope it sells out, though, because (a) I want everyone to be able to have the music they desire and (b) the better things I don't care about sell, the greater the chances that something I do care about about will make it to a release. So, buy up, and enjoy your toots.

At the risk of being drawn and quartered... . So you aren't alone, I'll join you. I'll buy it eventually , played a couple of times and then it'll be filed away. It's OK just not a fav.

I have so far all John Williams/Steven Spielberg collaborations, so I'll definitely get this one.

Yeah, it may not be your typical Williams score if you consider your typical Williams score to be STAR WARS/SUPERMAN/E.T./INDIANA JONES/ etc., but I always loved Williams' more folksy side. THE COWBOYS is among my all time favorite Williams scores, and so is what may be Williams most underrated score, ROSEWOOD, which I personally consider a masterpiece and one of my favorite film scores.
