A fellow collector helping another. Kudos Mr. Ostinato and Mr. MD. It's fantastic when that happens! I greatly appreciate it. Wow very cool. I’m glad someone on this forum found a link to the Yokai trilogy cd set in Japan which snagged . Now I’m on the lookout for this set. I cannot get enough of Ikeno’s music.

I got from SAE when the getting was good. I would ask Craig just in case. They occasionally have stuff that isn't on the website. In any case, I'll keep my eyes peeled. Good luck.

I have you to thank for bringing my attention to Sei Ikeno from another thread earlier this summer. I did email SAE and they got back to me quickly. unfortunately they do not have any more copies.

Niceeeeee!! Would love a mini review after you’ve had a chance to listen through. Will do! But wait, there's more! Thanks to a proxy service, I recently bought all three of Salida's high resolution digital releases. They are Ikeno's "Spook Warfare" (1968), Ifukube's "Snow Woman Ghost Story", A.K.A "Kaidan Yukijoro" (1968) and Ikeno's "The White Tower" (1966). Waaaa???? High res digital? Please I must know more! I cannot get enough of Spook warfare. I love the film too!!

You're welcome! I used DEJAPAN. They allow digital orders. Sign up and follow their request service. FSM message board member increbula introduced me to them and they are absolutely fantastic! As someone else who loves Ikeno's "Spook Warfare", listening to the digital release is a revelation! I to prefer physical releases, but the increased dynamic range is night and day compared to CD quality audio. Only three or so cues from Ifukube's "Snow Woman Ghost Story" have been released on CD as part of that mammoth King of Monsters box set, while Salida released 15 cues from "The White Tower" on Sei Ikeno Works Film (DESL-001/004). Just having the complete scores for those two at last is a revelation in of itself. Thanks for the help! I figured out how to add the merchant (after several minutes). I'm feeling my mid 50s these days...

Thanks for the help! I figured out how to add the merchant (after several minutes). I'm feeling my mid 50s these days... You're welcome. Hopefully it worked out for you. I recommend grabbing all three. As you've been on an Ikeno kick, I have a feeling you'll enjoy the hell out of "The White Tower". It's another exceptional score from the composer. Thanks! I grabbed them all. Just waiting for the codes now. Had to pay a shipping fee for digital downloads. Not much mind you but curious. I’m looking forward to hearing more Sei Ikeno!

Thanks! I grabbed them all. Just waiting for the codes now. Had to pay a shipping fee for digital downloads. Not much mind you but curious. I’m looking forward to hearing more Sei Ikeno! You're welcome. I forgot to mention that they charge a 10% fee for digital orders. When they are ready, they'll email you a Google Drive folder with your files. I absolutely enjoy Ikeno as well, and there isn't a whole lot of his film music out there, at least in terms of complete scores. So, I too always look forward to hearing more Ikeno. Excellent thanks! I am looking forward to receiving those scores later today (we are 14 hrs behind JPN in Canada so it's middle of the night there now).

Excellent thanks! I am looking forward to receiving those scores later today (we are 14 hrs behind JPN in Canada so it's middle of the night there now). You're welcome. Yeah, My area is 14 hours behind as well. It'll take a while to receive them, but it's worth the wait. I'm actually going to give "The White Tower" another listen when I get home from work this evening. Thanks again for putting me on to these recordings. Would you say the Yokai is cleaner than the Cinema-Kan CDs?
