Yeah. I don't care if the score treads similar ground to other efforts by him, it's right up my alley (based on those re-creations in another thread) and it'll be a no-brainer, no-samples-needed, insta-purchase from me (well, if I have the money!).

And that's not counting any alternates. Plus, I'd LOVE if they could put Leigh Phillips re-recording on there.

Because it's good and it would make a nice bonus track.

Because it's good and it would make a nice bonus track. That's so weird. Was a great service, for sure, and super cool of him to do that for those of us who are rabid for anything unissued by Goldsmith, but who listens to those shitty demos on the Waterworld and Fugitive releases? They're neat as curiosity, but not necessary at ALL.

This is great. I've long felt that the theme from The Vanishing (which originated here) was one of Goldsmith's most underrated, but it barely got a chance to shine in that score, outside of the end credits. Based on the MIDI samples, the theme is all over The Public Eye. It will also be interesting to hear how Goldsmith handled the suspense element. The trailer has some moody synth suspense music that I don't recognize; could this have been taken from Goldsmith's mock-ups? Doesn't really sound like Goldsmith.

I don’t know, Mutant, but I do remember really liking the movie (I know for a fact that I still like Isham’s music for it).

And there is good news today! Good news on this. I checked with MRT and although he didn’t have any tapes himself a DAT was sent to JG at the time and has been found by Carol and the score is being worked on for release by a label who releases JG soundtracks quite a lot. But be warned how long it will take to do the paperwork on it is another matter so don’t hold your breath.

I’m gonna get a copy of the film and restore the Goldsmith score on my channel if it’s possible. YES. Can't wait! Yavar
