This one, Black Sunday, and Midway are going to be my Williams purchases for next month. I've never cared for MIDWAY, neither film nor score. Lots of droney suspense cues in the lower register (except for the two marches -- well, one march and one that is called a march, but doesn't sound like it). Both BLACK SUNDAY and NONE BUT THE BRAVE are a thousand times better, IMO. Just as a heads-up. Hi Thor! I've gotten several rather negative reviews about Midway, and I appreciate the input a LOT. There are other great JW scores for me to get first.

I agree with Thor re: the merits of Midway vs. the other two. Yavar

I agree with Thor re: the merits of Midway vs. the other two. Yavar NBTB and BS then. Oh, off topic but I just ordered the FSM Logan's Run, really psyched!

I just now finally placed an order for this... I hope I'm not making a mistake, given what one of you said about the sound quality of some of the last tracks.

A very good early Williams worth purchasing. Oh it's DEFINITELY NOT Williams' music I'm concerned about... it's the sound quality!

I remember thinking the sound quality for the score proper was very good, though I don't recall if some of the bonus tracks were more disappointing (but who cares? they're BONUS tracks!) Yavar
