This box set will be the first in a series of releases EA and LLL have planned for you soundtrack hounds sick of those nasty digital download exclusives. So, if you have any ideas of EA soundtracks you want to see released on cd, share away and we shall see what we can do!

VIVA LA CD! VIVA LA CD! VIVA LA CD!

Mirror's Edge! Please do Mirror's Edge! Solar Fields worked wonders with that game

AGREED 100%!

The Mirrors Edge score is *fantastic* (unlikely to be everyone's cup of tea on this board.. but what does that matter ;-) )

Solar Fields' work on this game *deserves* to make it to CD, no question.

Push it to the top of your EA partnership list, MV! (if you can)

-John

Amen to that.

A proper physical release is long overdue. At the moment all we have are the 'Remixes' CD and the criminally short download-only version of the score.

This will fly off the shelves if released.

I've downloaded most of these over the last few years but I will gladly put down money for this set. Count me in! smile

^ What he said!

I'm not a gamer and I've had no exposure to their scores but I took a chance on a couple of old La-La-Land VG score titles and was very favorably impressed so I went after the MOH downloads. The music is fantastic! An 8-disc box set? Hellz ya! Save one for me!

LALALAND...PLEASE....you MUST try and get the complete Mass Effect 2 set out on CD, Bioware only released it as digital tunes, but I'm sure you guys can do it!

I second that. Any Tron Legacy fans would love Mass Effect 2.

Before asking for mass effect, etc... enjoy this set first!
I am very happy to see Lalaland doing this incredible box! Bravo.

a list of those 9 MoH game titles, with each composer and currently availability (CD, itunes, unreleased...), please, anyone?

Almost all the info one would ever need is on http://vgmdb.net/ (though there IS a bit of a confusion for the first score in this case)

Will we get separate liner-notes for each soundtrack or one large book à la The Blue Box?

I will take one of these for sure!!

How about Dragon Age: Orgins by Inon Zur as another release. It is an excellent score to the video game, and I would grab that one up in a heartbeat.

I request
BLACK by Chris Tilton.
And the upcoming Bulletstorm.

Its not EA, but I'm still waiting on Michael Giacchino's Call of Duty.

Hi MV,

Would it be possible to release the scores of the Mass effect series, the Dead Space Series and Dragon Age origins?

Thank you

Here some titles which would be awesome on CD:

Assasins Creed 1+2 - Jesper Kyd
Command and Conquer: Tiberium Wars – Trevor Morris & Steve Jablonsky
Command and Conquer: Tiberian Twilight – James Hannigan
Mass Effect 2 – Jack Wall
Harry Potter (Games) – Jeremy Soule, James Hannigan (very epic gamescores!)

And maybe some of the NEED FOR SPEED scores? Most of them are just promos or out of stock. Composers: Jim Latham, Paul Linford, Ekstrak, Trevor Morris, Junkie XL, Paul Haslinger and more.

...and Far Cry 2 by Marc Canham (Ubisoft).

When are they gonna release the score for SPACE INVADERS (the last video game I purchased)? I really dig that sound it makes when you get squashed by a flying saucer!

These are Ubisoft titles unfortunately. And, like EA, favour either the digital-only release or none at all. Maybe LLL can collaborate with Ubisoft in the future?

Kyd's score to AC2 is one of THE best video game scores and is much deserving of a proper release. Fans have been screaming out for a physical release of Assassin's Creed 2 for a while now. As usual though, all we have is the crappy download-only version of the score and a few tracks on the bonus DVD.

It's nice to see a big label like LLL involved in getting proper releases for the fans.

Harry Potter (Games) – Jeremy Soule, James Hannigan (very epic gamescores!)

Another good one. I managed to snag all of the available scores when they were on iTunes, but a CD release would be spectacular

The digital iTunes releases of the HP scores (at least the first few Soule ones) didn't involve Jeremy at all, and were not assembled very well (tracks would just cut off at the 'loop' point, etc.) Would def be nice to consider those titles!
