Well I got mine today. And it sounds great. I have the Label X release, but I hadn't listened to it in a long time, so I'm rediscovering many fun cues!
Listening to it right now, and it sounds great. Haven't even gotten to the De Angelis bros. tracks yet, which for me will be the icing on the cake. Thanks, BSX!

We are glad you enjoyed it.
Mike Joffe (who produced it for us) did a great job.
It's worth mentioning that the performance by the Rome Orchestra wasn't one that John Scott was very happy with..
Our first clue of this was when we told him we were doing the project, his first comment was "Can't I just record it with a different orchestra instead?, the performance by the Mafia Orchestra for the film is AWFUL!!!"

I have the Label X cd so I just went straight to Yor's World.
And for the past three days I have had that damn song on perpetual repeat. I've listened to no other music but Yor's World.
I can't help myself.
I hated that song when I saw the movie as a kid and now I am compelled by it.
This poster design was probably conceived for North America many months after they'd finished filming.
Reb Brown isn't wearing his Yor wig in any of the promotional shots they did here in the states.
This one sheet is one of the reasons why I had to see this movie at age 13 when it came out on the big screen.
I was too young to ask simple questions like... Why is Yor so angry?
Oh, it must be because the aliens have dropped him off on top of a mountaintop he could never possibly climb down from.
The "Yor's World" song is a true Eurotrash classic. Nothing in the world can really prepare you for seeing Yor hijack a pteradactyl he's just killed and using it as a hang glider to attack the cave people who have taken his special lady friend.
Except maybe some James Bond movies.
I don't think it's a pteradactyl who even tries to attack him. It just happens to be flying by.
I was too young to ask simple questions like... Why is Yor so angry?
This sentence has made me so very happy for utterly inane reasons. Probably because I'm replacing the nouns...
"I was too young to ask simple questions like... What is a Starcrash?"
I have watched my blu-ray of Starcrash twice since getting it... man I love that movie! I plan on infecting all my friends with it's amazing awesome'tude.
It's a great movie... A few years back, Sarge and myself attended a screening of STAR CRASH at the Egyptian, with Caroline Munro present, and the entire audience laughed their asses off and had a good time.
Movies like this are best enjoyed in the company of like-minded people. Having a nice Italian dinner beforehand is optional.
Received my copy today and what a great score by John Scott. I have never seen the film and I missed out on the Label X release, but I have heard the Scott score. I could have done without the additional music. I listened through the CD twice and I will never go past cue 17 again, sorry.

Just got this with my copy of The Touch, and it's going into the CD player next. BSX had it on sale for $9.99. How can you go wrong with John Scott for a mere $10 bucks?
