I'm not expecting a big thematic score for this one so unless Zimmer writes amazing themes I'll pass. Still, more music released at the beginning is always good. Saves us from having to buy the same thing twice.
There's more in film music than just themes, you know?
Sure, but most of my favorite scores are up there because they have amazing themes. It is because of amazing themes that everyone remembers Goldsmith, Rozsa, Williams, etc. Big themes that are recognizable are the glue that keeps a score interesting.
If you don't like Zimmer why don't you avoid threads about his music then?
What you are doing is the true meaning of trolling. It's not appreciated as you aren't even articulating your disdain with anything substantive enough to generate a real conversation piece.
I love your posts and I also love how you're commenting on this CD. My reply is NOT sarcastic, I'm being serious here. I do get a good chuckle out of your posts every now and then.

YOR is trying to create awareness on people.
People KNOW who Zimmer is and most know what his work sounds like. How about letting them make up their own minds instead of trying to push your own opinions down their throats?
