The thing is that THE WILD BUNCH has not been available for so long...a mere two months, which is not so much for a $50 title which was claimed to be Limited: N/A in the first place (though others say it is reportedly 2000 copies--but I take the FSM website as the primary trustworthy source).

Given that in Dec-2011 Lukas wrote the following regarding UNDER FIRE: "This is a classic Goldsmith score that deserves to be in print forever." and now it's OOP, I wonder if any FSM title will see its quantities repressed or if all the stocks are final..?

I bought a sealed copy (one of the last remaining) of North's THE DEVIL'S BRIGADE from them a few weeks ago - no problem!

"Lust for Life" has apparently also started to vanish.

What a great run of releases FSM provided!

My experience with intrada is out of stock means will get or can. They will say sold out when dont have. I once asked them to confirm this.

Of corse possibility they will walk in tuesday and go uh-oh.

Glad to see you are in a better mood today, since you didn't accuse Jacky of whiningroll eyes

Maybe a year and a half later it's clearer that the trickle of sales for these titles is not going to sustain a perpetual catalog. Some other label can probably reissue this score in a couple of years and sell a thousand of them in a week. Keep it in print for a couple of years and I wonder if you'd be lucky to sell half that. The current release cycle does not favor "catalog" titles, and Intrada's "it's here until we decide it isn't" model seems to confirm there's usually a burst of sales at announce time which then drops off precipitously to unsustainable levels.

I think this is a pretty clear sign that FSM is just running its current stocks down and there will be no more re-pressings of anything.

Which begs the question of what will go first, as opposed to what goes last? A cash-strapped scenario is one of rampant frustration.

Well, if you go through Lukas' FSM catalogue summaries where he gives some insight into each of the scores' production, you'll find that current stocks as of that writing for all of the disks are listed. I'd suggest making a list of all the FSM you're interested in and prioritizing based on quantities available. There'll always be a certain degree of unpredictability... who knows why Under Fire sold out when Coma (which has a comparable # of units) is still there, for example.

I do agree with Mr. Woolston that it looks like there won't be any more repressing of FSM titles (I'd imagine the few exceptions might be super successful titles like the Horner Treks).

Chris.

I had 100 Rifles in my cart and hit confirm, - and poof -- nothing happened, so I check, nothing processed, cart was empty, no 100 Rifles. Gone.

Ado, I have a spare 100 Rifles -- accidentally bought it twice; it's a long story. Shoot me an email via the website in my profile if you would like to do a trade. I am not interested in reselling to gouge a profit out of anyone. It is a terrific score.

I say this with no irony whatsoever. It warms my heart to see people who love film music reaching out to one another in this way and not trying to treat our mutual passion as a way to take advantage. I tip my hat to you as you pay it forward.

Can't believe Under Fire went so quick. Looks like I missed out on that one. None of the other retailers seem to have any more copies for sale now either. Anybody have an extra copy they would be willing to sell?

Wow, you could not find money to purchase UNDER FIRE in the last 5 years? FSM released it in 2008.
