So the Disney Music Emporium Facebook page posted a photo of Lorelay Bove (the artist who did the artwork for the first wave of Legacy collection releases) with the caption "Hmmm...wonder what Lorelay Bove is working on..." Could it be a second volume of Legacy Collection releases??

That would be nice but didn't they missed some anniversaries? It's also kinda odd they gave Rescuers Down Under to Intrada which isn't a Legacy release.

Maybe they're abandoning the anniversary aspect of the series. If they do continue the series, I do hope they put an equitable amount of effort into all of the titles instead of just reissuing the previous CD's as was done with the Walt-era titles in the last batch

I would like to see some of the titles originally released on the Buena Vista label expanded and released, especially the score for "The Moon Spinners" which I believe was only released on LP in mono.

Mulan
Beauty and the Beast
Hunchback

would do nice for starters. However, assuming they stick to anniversaries and are released end of 2017 into 18 what other titles aside from Mulan are options ?

As far as those possibilities for this year Anniversary-wise, Snow White, Bambi, Aladdin, and maybe Jungle Book seem like titles Disney would place in the collection (I can't really see Disney doing Legacy editions for the package films), though I can see them possibly sneaking Beauty and the Beast in because of the remake, even though it's anniversary was last year,

I don't know if I'm supposed to take that as a hint or not, Drivingmissdaisy.

Anyway, the Disney Music Emporium Facebook posted that there's going to be an announcement tomorrow along with two samples of Lorelay Bové's artwork, so we'll find out if the collection is continuing or not tomorrow. One of the pieces of artwork consists of three arrows, which if it's for a Legacy Collection release, strongly suggests that we may finally get a release of Bruns' Robin Hood.

I so hope The Legacy series continues. I bought all of the last ones and would buy whatever they put out...but a Jungle Book release is what I have been waiting for the most!

Those flags say Robin Hood too! I'm really excited now, and apprehensive. The Legacy Collection been a mixed bag. Sleeping Beauty wasn't expanded when it could've been, Little Mermaid had many quality issues. Intrada would get it perfect I'm sure. But if it's Legacy Collection or nothing I'll take it.

I never bought the Little Mermaid CD so I cannot judge on that one, but I was definitely peeved that they didn't expand Sleeping Beauty (my personal favorite Disney film) when they pretty much said point blank that they had all the elements (I was so hoping to get the cue for when Maleficent captures Philip). Still I have to agree, if it means more expanded Disney scores, then I'm all for it.

Just minutes ago, they confirmed it is Robin Hood. No details yet other than the cover art.

Well you know, 2017 IS "Fluppy Dogs'" big 31st anniversary.

Well you know, 2017 IS "Fluppy Dogs'" big 31st anniversary.

If they did a Disney Sunday Movie collection bundling scores from those movies over the years I'd be thrilled to see Fluppy Dogs in there. Or maybe as a bonus to a Shaggy Dog Ost collection. wink

Also some of these fan Legacy Collection mock ups are quite decent.
