I wonder if Arnold was trying to throw people off by mentioning that TND was coming (though I have no doubt that one's in the pipeline too). Or maybe...just MAYBE...both were in the works, and Arnold thought TND was coming first? And that would mean TND isn't far behind??!!! Probably wishful thinking but hey it's Christmas! You may be right. I do hope we don't have to wait another full year for the next Bond, and MV did say there were more than 5 titles in the works for Black Friday. Tomorrow Never Dies will be just as appreciated as TWINE when it arrives. Congratulations on this release, guys!! I assume that the hint of more to come means that expanded TOMORROW NEVER DIES, CASINO ROYALE and QUANTUM OF SOLACE discs are come too. Like so many other people, the folks at La-La-Land included, I hope this eventually results in expanded releases of things like THUNDERBALL (there's still 20 minutes of stuff missing from that score), THE MAN WITH THE GOLDEN GUN, THE SPY WHO LOVED ME, MOONRAKER, OCTOPUSSY and A VIEW TO A KILL. And, as you know, I'd be up for double disc edition of YOU ONLY LIVE TWICE, ON HER MAJESTY'S SECRET SERVICE, DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER and LIVE AND LET DIE too, one disc the old album programme and one disc the complete scores done chronologically. But, hey, I'm actually doing something here that I hate—which is wishing on a star for future things, when the real news is that there's new stuff to enjoy in the here and now. Cheers I absolutely ADORE LLL´s extended Bond score releases and definitely hope they will continue. My personal preference would be (after LLL going backwards from DAD) to have them jump to those scores which remain in their current truncated versions (TMWTGG, TSWLM, MR) before they go back to those scores which are already available with more material. It would be great to see as much Bond on disc as possible. Casino Royale, I believe, was released in full on iTunes, but I'd go in for a 2-disc CD release from LLL, especially if it had alternates or the film version of You Know My Name. Quantum of Solace was pretty complete too I recall, though there are a few cues yet released, like the brief action track when Bond escapes the bar and the fast rendition of the James Bond theme that plays over the gunbarrel outro and into the end credits. But GoldenEye or Thunderball, A View to a Kill or Licence to Kill, The Spy Who Loved Me or Skyfall—bring it all on, whatever's possible. For now, as Stephen suggests, I'm enjoying LLL's beautiful presentation of DAD and eagerly looking forward to TWINE. As Michael Lonsdale intones in Moonraker, "First there was the dream, now there is reality." So much great music I dreamed of hearing play alongside the original album: "Gunbarrel / Bond Has Left the Building," "Balloon," "Welcome to Baku (Film Version)," "Snow Business," "Out of the Snow / Stay With Me Please," "Devil's Breath," "Welcome to Kazakhstan," "Going Down - The Bunker (Extended Version)," "Submarine Surfaces / Renard Greets Nik / M Clocks Locator," "Bomb," "Sub Gets It," "Orbis Non Sufficit." No longer a dream, now a reality. Thank you for making the dream happen, LLL!

I'll definitely be getting this, but I do have a question: Will it just be the Brosnans released by LLL? Like a previous poster said, The Spy Who Loved Me (not to mention, many others) could use a refurbishing as well... I think it's the David Arnold scores that LLL currently have an 'in' on. Cheers

I think it's the David Arnold scores that LLL currently have an 'in' on. Yes, and thank goodness for their existing relationship with David Arnold. You would hope though that if Arnold’s Bonds do well—which it seems that DAD has—that Eon would be open to laying their chips on Bonds from other composers (Barry, Kamen, Newman, more...).

It's interesting that I think this is the first James Bond soundtrack release to ever have its main title song in the proper chronological place. Well, ALL my Bond scores have the song in the proper place. TWINE had a much too long pre credit imho. I would program only the first track before the song Brm

The years may have made my cynical, but I wouldn't ever bet on Eon becoming open to anything.

Will be possible the autographed CDs by David Arnold in the webpage of LLL? Thanks

I do not hope there are cross fade effects here - Neil S. Bulk have A tendency to use Those [reads track list on new album] 2. Submarine #1 4:11 3. Submarine #2** 6:26 Two cues that on the original album were combined with [checks notes] a crossfade! It's like you don't even know me, man! Neil i know you well - speically after Gremlins 2 and those cross-cues that were misplaced Then you must know that my responsibilities on the Gremlins 2 album were very different from those on the new 2-disc The World Is Not Enough album, but don't let that get in the way of your narrative. Neil Regardless of the decisions behind it, conjoining cues that are clearly not joined in the film is disappointing and frustrating, and prevents listeners from creating their own playlist with ease. For example, I know I only want to add the first part of Submarine Surfaces / Renard Greets Nik / M Clocks Locator to my playlist, but unless I'm able to edit the other two thirds out, I can't. Conversely, including both Submarine 1 and Submarine 2 in addition to the album version is the best way to do it, as it gives the listener the option.
