I don't even know why I bother reading threads around here anymore. So many people seem to get off on outing themselves as pieces of shit that it just sucks the fun out of everything anymore.
If you want to see the movie, cool. If you don't want to see the movie, cool.
If you're only here to be a source of negativity and hate, find something else to do with your life. Trolling is the pastime of those who are dead inside.

It does sound like Barry, like Bond, and like Arnold's Bond. If Elizabeth Banks told Tyler to go for that sound, kudos to her. A very nice surprise as I'd thought there'd be very little score and what was there would be Tyler's Madsonix style stuff.
For me this is a nice, fun listen. A solid theme, Tyler nails the 70's feel at times, yep pays homage to the TV show theme, and really, just delivers an all around highly entertaining score.

To be fair, it wouldn't have mattered it it was "Charlene's Angels" about they were men instead; it still would have failed with the same ideas, same creative team, same rush to crank something out under a nostalgic title.

Perhaps. Maybe. Who knows?
On the other hand, movies, TV series, video games that constantly lecture and hector people, that value shlepping political views over entertainment, may possibly, coincidentally, repel potential viewers.
Not everything is about you and your very subjective perceptions.

True. But the MCG Charlies Angels was successful because it was silly fun with a good cast but it had no SJW nonsense.Elizabeth Banks didnt help her movie by making it a #Metoo affair , saying its about ' Believing women '.

I haven't seen either the TV show or the earlier movies but I saw this and was entertained by it. The plot is standard-issue stuff but Banks does a decent job with the comedy and action and the cast is charismatic, particularly Kristen Stewart who gives the sort of idiosyncratic performance that you don't see very often in genre movies. It's also nice to see Patrick Stewart step away from his serious British actor mode and actually enjoy himself, something which he never seemed to do in the X-men movies.
The Tyler score is pretty effective and the main theme suits the tone of the movie.
