YES!

What exactly is the point to pre-order anything and supporting the actual label when retailers get their copies weeks earlier before the pre-ordered copies are even shipped?

Next time I guess I´ll rather order anything elsewhere.

Jesper of PlantSounds did the right thing and I applaud his label's release and shipping.

Hi everyone

I feel like I'd better comment on the whole shipping issue, just to clarify a few things smile

1)
Since Denmark is the most expensive country in Europe, or maybe even the world(?) to ship from, we allied ourselves with some friends who run a bookshop in Germany.
They are handling all of the international orders that contain just Valhalla.
Unfortunately they were a day late shipping the albums, and I was away from the office, so I wasn't able to "complete" the orders in our system before the 28th.

2)
If distributors have been shipping before August 26th, then shame on them wink

3)
When we made the pre-order on our website, there were no agreements with either SAE or any others. Hopefully they will sell our future releases too, and you are - of course - most welcome to pre-order from them instead.

4)
And finally.
I've read some comments suggesting that 'major companies like ours really should be better at dealing with demands' like the one we've had for Valhalla...
... a few comments on that wink

We are by NO means a major company. Compared to Varese, La-La Land or Intrada (just to name a few) we are that tiny recently opened family-run business on the corner, and while we love it when one of our releases receive attention, it basically just means more non-paid work for me, as I do pretty much everything myself big grin

No, I'm not complaining, not at all, I love doing this! Just telling it as it is smile

So there you have it.

We are so ever thankful that you have purchased the album, and we hope that many more of you will, as we are really proud of this release.
Just remember that whatever hiccup or annoyance you may encounter. None of them are there to annoy you smile

Have a great Sunday.

Kindly,
Jesper

Norway has you beat by a wide margin, but then we're the most expensive country in the world in just about everything, not just shipping rates! wink

I'm glad VALHALLA is selling well for you, Jesper. I aim to write a review on Celluloid Tunes when time allows!

Thanks Thor! That would be great...

And just checked shipping rates from Norway to Denmark (posten.no), and the other way around... Denmark is more expensive wink

Recived my two cd's (one for friend) a couple of days, and couldn't be happier. A Great sounding cd which I can¨t wait to compare to my old lp. But i am sure it will sound better, despite me upgrading the play back system only last week. Yes I spent 600 Pounds on a dedicated RIAA for my turntable :-)

This score (and film) was completely unknown to me. Boy is it a treat! Really enjoyed the first run through and will return to it soon.
