I'm sure I'm way in the minority here, but given it's for March and Intrada can release Disney scores - I'd love to see Oliver Wallace's great score to Darby O'Gill & The Little People!

I would buy it! I would also love to see a release of Ron Grainer's wonderful score for The Moon-Spinner's (1964) released, it'll probably never happen, but with Intrada on the scene who knows what's possible!?

If we’re talking “lost” scores, then I’d surely encourage JOAN OF ARC, HELEN OF TROY, and GREEN DOLPHIN STREET. All worthy of re-recording. We do know they have a Steiner in the works, so perhaps we may not have to wait for a re-recording of Helen of Troy, supposing the Steiner is Helen of Troy, of course. Of course, whether the Steiner is the "welcome surprise" or not is debatable, but it is a possibility. As for Stothart and Marie Antoinette, this is from Lukas’ low quantity write up on Dragon Seed: the only proper way to release more Stothart is to take the studio masters, and the family masters (acetates and transfers therefrom), and combine them in the computer to reconstruct these classic scores into the most complete forms possible. (I have some 78 minutes from the studio in very good mono sound of Marie Antoinette, but wanted to see what the estate had...and we never got that far.) There are quite literally dozens of Stothart scores that could be done as a limited edition box set of 500 (I am, sadly, not joking about that small number) that would take a lot of work, but if any other label wants to tackle this—and can get the studio and the estate on board—I will gladly, and thankfully, turn over all my paperwork, research and digital files pro bono. https://www.filmscoremonthly.com/daily/article.cfm?articleID=6782 Sadly, this was posted 10 years ago. None of this has come to fruition

Well at least Disney put the film up on Disney+ — in HD no less! Yavar

I was really lazy one day and decided to stream it instead of getting the DVD out. That lasted all of 5 minutes.

Yavar Unfortunately, it also uses the redubbed version which removes most of the thick Irish accents and the few smatterings of Gaelic. Its sad to learn of that. I doubt Walt would have approved. His family were Irish after all! The Disney's hailed from Co. Kilkenny. He made a number of trips back to Ireland, some specifically for doing some research on 'the little people'...they are real you know...

I'm with you there Niall, a lovely innocent and melodic score from The Omega Man. Fingers crossed. I will keep hoping.

Could it be they finally got the masters to James Horner's "Volunteers?" -
