Hello talented friends!

I'm re-ripping and re-tagging my entire FSM collection and I've noticed some holes in the excellent cover art available for this music. I'm hoping someone can point me to some of the great custom art for the following titles? Preferably with the standard FSM bottom banner, etc. I scoured the previous custom art threads and obtained many great covers, but I still have some gaps:

FSM never supplied a cover for these:
Gerald Fried - Mark of the Devil
Bronislau Kaper - The Power and the Prize

Box sets I haven't found individual album art for:
Northwest Passage (Westerns)
The Naked Spur (Westerns)

Thanks so much for any help!

Here a handful of those, plus one you didn't ask for.

THE VAMPIRE (aka MARK OF THE VAMPIRE)

THE POWER AND THE PRIZE

NORTHWEST PASSAGE

NAKED SPUR

EYE OF THE DEVIL

@Brad Wills

Wow... Thanks!

Are there covers for the other titles in the western boxes floating around somewhere?

You're very welcome. And I'm not aware of any others from the set.

@JGouse, please may I ask you to create a custom cover, similar to the Suites and Themes ones you did, for John Barry's Moviola PBS special? smile

You are not going to believe this!! I am just putting together a playlist of both Moviola albums! This cover is great, thank you.

Is there any way you could add the credit “The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by John Barry”?

@JGouse, seeing that you are on a roll, would you mind making a similar cover for all the John Williams compositions that have appeared on his Boston Pops albums over the years on the Philips label? Many thanks in advance smile

LOL...I'm not on as much of a roll as you might think. That's why these are most drag-and-drop copies.

I can do the portrait search and template changes, but you'll have to post exactly what you want the: 1) title, 2) performance credit, and 3) various movie titles to be.

EDIT: OK, so the portrait search just got a tad easier...LOL

big grin

Thanks for being willing to do this.

I have an idea...let me pose these questions on the JWfan forums, where there has been some discussion about the new Decca boxed set of JW/BPO releases that is forthcoming.

In the meantime, I'm going to search for a different picture but one that is close to the one you posted (i.e. JW's age, the style, etc) only because that one is a pretty soft image and looks all compressed and fuzzy when I put it in Photoshop. I'll probably find a color one and convert it to B&W.

Thanks, that's very thoughtful. I tried finding a more "era-appropriate" pic but the pickings seem slim. You'd probably be better at tracking down suitable images anyway.

Actually, I just found a colorized version of your photo. It was a bit erratically faded and had white speckles, but I was able to fix all of that after doing the B/W conversion. At any rate, the image is in place.

@JGouse, in the interim, until I hear back from the other JWfanners, suggest:

JOHN WILLIAMS

Suites, Themes and Fanfares

Including E.T., Close Encounters, Star Wars, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Superman, The Cowboys, Jaws, The Witches of Eastwick, Jane Eyre, Olympic Fanfare, 1941 and others

Performed by the Boston Pops Orchestra

Would it be possible to include the Philips Digital Classics banner (that is if you are able to easily find it in a high resolution)?

Many thanks!

Thanks for the additional info, and I'll see what I can do on the banner. If I can get the same or similar font used for "Digital Classics" via Adobe Font, I can probably just replicate the banner. I just left the house for the day, so this won't be for a while anyway.
