I’m sure it’s not included but I feel like the one thing that would make this comprehensive set complete is the Memory Wall footage, even if it’s unfinished and unedited. It’s obvious from Preston Neal Jones book and the comic adaptation I’ve seen that the whole thing was a slow, colossal disaster but it’s still one I’d love to see with my own eyes. I’ve heard rumors that the elements still exist. I imagine they’d be marketing the hell out of it if they were included. But still one can dream.
According to Paramount publicity, "Star Trek: The Original Motion Picture Collection will arrive on September 6 with all six big-screen adventures featuring the original series crew on 4K Ultra HD." But I don't see any pre-order or pricing info on that set yet.

If you really wanted it to stay the way it was, then I guess you expect them also to keep the SLV in 4:3 aspect ratio and TV broadcast quality resolution?
Yavar
Since it's little more then a curio at this point, that would have been OK with me. 1776 did the same thing when they included the 180min LaserDisk edit as an extra.

$120 for the set, huh? That's only $6 cheaper than buying the individual films.
Which is one of two reasons why I'm gonna do just that. The other reason is I hate the box set art. I prefer the movie poster art. Although I am happy to see Sybok getting some love.
