According to the Indianapolis Symphony Facebook, it’s coinciding with a film they are performing the same day. Don’t look at their page if you don’t want to spoil the surprise…or do look and enter the raffle they have for free copies.
Hunchback > Hunchback of Notre Dame > University of Notre Dame…

Wow that is an impressively roundabout clue. I was almost convinced this was Mouse Hunt… Tim and I even canceled our Soundtrack Spotlight recording today because neither of us could see how the clue fit what we were planning to discuss. (Luckily we’ve rescheduled for tomorrow.)
The Sneakers soundtrack was released 30 years ago this month by Columbia records. Sony owns Columbia it seems. Is there a problem with prying soundtracks from Sony? I can’t recall if that is one of the labels that has clammed up.
Lies. I'm not that old!
But yeah I THINK Sony stuff usually lands at LaLa Land but I could be wrong. Sneakers complete is pretty much the only thing left on my grail list.
As somebody has already pointed out, the guy's back is hunched. Like the Hunchback of Notre Dame. Daniel "Rudy" Ruettiger was at the University of Notre Dame. Notre Dame's football uniforms are blue and gold, just as the Varèse logo was in their first announcement.
I'll buy it either way and I'm always happy for expanded Goldsmith, but is there much music in the film not on the original CD? (I haven't seen it since 1993)

37 minutes on the original cd. 67 min on the Deluxe Edition. Plus I would say RUDY is one of the last objectively great scores Goldsmith wrote. It's a classic by any definition and was popular even among the non-film score crowd. It also found its way into a number of trailers. Sonically it's just spectacular with lots of detail and low end punch.

Hope springs eternal. Maybe soon. I was being sarcastic about the clue.

I would say it is probably Star Trek Nemesis as a last great score, yes no one saw the film, but that is another issue. That score especially expanded, is just terrific, and the recording on that one is also superb.
I am very pleased with the Rudy release though, apparently they play it at Notre Dame
