Is there much else to expand Nightbreed? That's always been a favourite of mine.
There's a decent amount missing. The music for the murder sequences was omitted, which is still the closest Elfman has come to scoring straight horror. There's lots ot bombastic action missing from the end, too, including a big cue by Shirley Walker.
Dialogue too. I want to hear the music with dialogue excerpts from the movie.
"How do you like dem apples?" / Boodly Deedly Tweedly Beedly Go-jangly Jingly (acoustic guitar) "It's not your fault" / Plink Plinky Plink Plonk Bwoopy (piano and clarinet) "You gotta hear this one song, it will change your life" Bweeee Oooooh Eeeeeh Ahhhhhh (penny whistles and choir)

I would love it if the upcoming release would be Nightbreed (also a favorite movie of mine). About the late and missed Shirley Walker, I want her Charge of the Berserkers on CD so much!
I also want expanded editions from Beetlejuice, The Nightmare Before Christmas and The Frighteners, beyond other works from Mister Elfman. Oh, and his adaptation of Psycho too!
I remember the film being a mess of Clive Barker's homo-erotic fetish fantasies (dId Barker do anything else) and I haven't played the CD in countless years, but I recall some stonking monster mash orchestra and percussion and I'm sure the sound on the old MCA album could do with a nice upgrade. Bring It On (but INSTINCT next, right)
