One mistake in the notice from LLL though. Dog Fight #3 has also been released commercially before, on the Mighty Wings single.

MV, how long has this been in the works for you? Over half a decade, I am sure… maybe even closer to a full decade?
The catalog number (1606) is in the range of their Black Friday 2022 titles (1607, 1608, 1610, 1612, 1615) There must have been (at least) two separate rounds of delays then. Liner notes author Tim Greiving just shared this on Facebook: “Fun fact: I started working on these notes way back in 2017 and I got a copy of the early assembly to Joseph Kosinski... who played it in the background when he pitched Maverick to Tom Cruise. In other words: I saved Hollywood.” Yavar

1. Yes this is it for March. I think that's enough, don't you? Lol 2. This was supposed to come out for Black Friday, but we didn't get final art approval on time. Original 2023 slate we wanted HOOK TOP GUN MASK OF ZORRO TOPAZ OCTOPUSSY LALD SILENT NIGHT 3. Lots of hoops, approvals and delays to make this a reality 4. The whole Bond nonsense delayed things. This was gonna be a Valentine's Day gift to y'all, but because of Octopussy shipments being delayed we had to delay Top Gun. Shipping would have been a logistical nightmare, so we sat there for the last few weeks like Mel Gibson in Braveheart shouting out Hoooold! Hoooold! 5. All Bond orders have been shipped out by now. Top Gun will most likely start shipping later next week(and no it won't be delayed... we're sure of that) 6. Next comes the nightmare of Scarface LPs and getting those in and shipping out...that will happen after Bond. By April things will have settled down and gone back to normal with 2 new releases dropping on April 2 Thanks for all your patience and continued support. MV PS...the cut off for autographs is 293922...915am pst...any order before that number will receive a signed booklet

Can't understand why, given the huge demand, this hasn't simply been released digitally long ago... I would have bought it immediately. I'm simply no longer willing to pay at least 50 € including shipping to Germany for one or two polycarbonate frisbees and then the package might end up at customs and I have to pay more and wait even longer. Anyway, after all these years, the best cues have already been unearthed in one form or another, albeit a little less... officially That's quite enough for me.

I get the licensing thing, I get that studios don't necessarily want this done under their own labels, I get that this is a niche market, I get that LLL might prefer this as a physical format business, I get that collectors want the disc. But... In the age of digital, it would be great to see this released as a hi-res download. Saves so much time and effort.
