BRAZIL is always my Kamen wish when I see his name. And you’re right about the timing. The Milan CD is a pretty good representation but leaves out many great moments from the score as actually heard in the film. My fingers will remain crossed for the day this happens, one of my few remaining grails.
Possibly. These lineup lists are rarely definitive for what they ultimately release during the year (ex. We didn’t know about the Tiomkin recording until the last batch was announced). Therefore, it’s possible we might see Barry and a few other composers added later on.
I know Silvestri isn't on the list, but I'm hoping for a reissue of Judge Dredd, even if it's just the contents from the first disc (like they did with Back to the Future).
Debney: White Fang 2 Poledouris: Les Miserables or The Jungle Book Kamen: The Three Musketeers Williams: Patriot or Nixon Fiedel: True Lies or Striking Distance Zimmer: Crimson Tide or King Arthur Eshkeri: Stardust
I'm hoping for Poledouris - Les Miserables & Zimmer - Crimson Tide.
Not to sound selfish but a re-issue of The Hunt for Red October w/some of the film version tracks would be great.
Brad Fiedel : Nowhere To Hide (but the rights are probably still with Varese) Michael Kamen : Highlander Hans Zimmer : i think Crimson Tide is a good guess, but i'm hoping for Bird On A Wire John Debney : Gunmen
Williams : Born on the Fourth of July or JFK Kamen : The Three Musketeers Zimmer : Bird on a Wire or Black Hawk Down Poledouris: Free Willy 1 + 2 complete scores
The Adventures of Batman and Robin 4CD was so far along (much more than “in the works” I’d say) that its cover art made it onto a 2019 mega poster of LLL releases… and that then still didn’t come out and here we are over five years later!
WB effectively closed up shop for the specialty labels outside of Varese and the titles they have perpetuity rights on.
JFK and the Free Willy scores are all Warner Bros.-owned so alas I think we’ll be waiting quite a while for those at this point.
Yavar
Wasn't JFK already in the works by La-La Land since at least 2016?
Sadly they never got around to it only because of the various licenses that were required to approve and probably a decision was made to pursue titles that were more accessible and easier to wrangle with. Eventually they will get around to it when this whole blockade at Warner is over.
