Be interested to hear from anyone who has both these CDs - I would imagine series 2 would be a better listen, but I could be wrong?

Another potential spoiler (but this one requires simple observation and deduction -- and, no, I have not yet seen this episode): Anyone who is familiar with the Sherlock Holmes books and the ending of Conan Doyle's "The Final Problem" should be able to "deduce" what is "heartbreaking" (as David Arnold put it in the interview) about the third episode of the second series "The Reichenbach Fall." Elementary.

I'm keen to hear what the verdict is on these two scores. So keen, George, I want to know before they come out!! ha ha In the worlds of Lee Van Cleef - the beer's warm but the month will go fast!

Excellent series, with great music. Presumably with two releases so close to each other, Silva are hoping for similar success with these releases to their Doctor Who range, given the same the creators are basically the Who team. My predictions are they won't come close to the sales of Who, but will probably still have a higher demand to the usual stuff, for various reasons. Among them interest from Holmes fans, the Who connection and of course Arnold fans. Good luck Silva!
