I don't have one, but that's a good idea!

I posted it as a reaction to LLL's annoucement of Millennium and Batman TAS a number of years ago.

Basil just decided to steal it and reuse it ad nauseam.

D-4!

I just found this: Look at where this site redirects!
http://www.thexfilesmusic.com/

The X-Files Music used to be a fan site that had bootleg recordings of episodes available online as mp3 files, and it closed somewhere around 2003 (from memory) for legal issues with FOX.

Is LLL preparing to launch a mini-site for the event? cool

Haha!! I was actually curious what the image itself was from, though. I didn't know if it was a particular movie or TV show or something.

I remember that site! That music quality was far far far away from the LLL box set.

Is anyone else going to make a mythology/monster-of-the-week playlist breakdown? Once I've uploaded the entire set to iTunes, I'm curious to hear the musical progression of the mythology from start to finish. 3 days left, can't wait!!

Made me laugh.

And strangely reminded me of a sentence in Nabokov's Lolita.

So when and where can we order this? I still don't see it listed on Lala Land's website? Aren't they taking pre-orders?

It's from the Stephen Chow film Shaolin Soccer. smile

They don't take pre-orders. It'll be available this Tuesday, 4:00 p.m. if you live on the US's east coast, and 1:00 p.m. if you live on the US's west coast. If you don't live in the US, look up some time clock online and you can tell what time it will be available from there.

Also, read the beginning of the thread. MV always announces what day and time it will be up for purchase.

Well, I've got mine on order! I didn't get home from work in time to order soon enough to get an autographed copy, so I'm a little disappointed about that. However, I'm just happy to be able to order this thing finally after hearing about it for about two years. Bring on Vol. 2!

Speaking of Vol. 2, I wonder if they always intended to do multiple volumes, and if so, if they ever considered having the first volume cover, say, the first three seasons, and cover them in more depth than they will be represented on what we're actually getting, with each successive volume covering the next three seasons. Or something like that.

It's best to go in to a project like this with the thought that this might be your one chance at getting the music out there.

Anything could happen, and you might not, for whatever reason, be able to release a Volume 2 (look at what's happened to the "Batman: The Animated Series", for example).

And what exactly happened to Batman TAS? I can't find anything.
