Hi, I've been really overworked recently, so I really can't follow the message board for the time being. I haven't had a moment to read even a tenth of this thread, but I'd just like to say, in ignorance of what's going on and what has already been posted, that Lukas K is gets thumbs up and my total admiration for all the sweat, blood and tears that go into making a few of us very happy indeed. Small consolation I know, but I'd just like him to know that.
Incidentally, I have finally decided to buy the box and give it away as a birthday present.
lol. For the trekkie in your family who really does have everything :-) jk
It's funny you should say that because I was actually thinking of giving the box to my trekkie/trekker brother who would appear to have the entire Star Trek universe in his study...
What do you mean by that? I am really starting to get P.O.ed. Was it the original cheese or a copy? Was it from Europe? I am getting really upset by this over the top statement.
Ok, fine. But why was he not pissed when this was posted 6 month ago
"Yes officer, that tragedy of that young man being murdered last week was horrible... but why didn't you solve that other, unrelated murder from across town that happened two months ago?!"
I will try again (ignoring the incomprehensible analogy).
I simply don't believe that anyone is unaware of the systematic piracy of this or any other music label (especially business insiders like Lukas). I haven't done the research, but I’m 99% sure that you can find every FSM CD or box set on the web (quite easily as well). Today it's ffshrine, tomorrow it's HD music torrent bla bla bla .com
Every time somebody asked my advice on whether they should start a film music label -- going back to about 2002 -- and they wanted to know the positives and negatives, the #1 negative I always told them was that your music will eventually get uploaded by some crook so that anyone who wants it can take it for free. Some people chose not to get ino the business, possibly due in some small part to my advice. Others listened and got into the business anyway, and they are now dealing with the same problem almost all the labels have been dealing with for many years. But there is absolutely nothing new about it. That doesn't make the most recent abuses any less serious, but in my book, every abuse is equally serious.

Any sign of The Last Man On Earth yet? I was particularly looking forward to that release. Unless I'm mistaken, you scuppered that one for another label better than all the world's downloaders combined could have managed.
