I wonder if they’re holding off with the Cheetah reveal due to the reaction to the CATS trailer....?

LOL! That wouldn't surprise me. I don't know that they could make Cheetah look any creepier.

Lol, as I said, Tenet is a flop, and now WW84 delays release, once again, this time to December 25, 2020.
The same will be with Dune and Bond 25, I think, but to 2021, of course frown

What is so funny? (Lol?) Tenet is not a flop. It has done pretty well internationally and continues to do so. America is no longer the dominant box office for a movie. Stop with the negativity. I've been 4 times since movie theatres re-opened here in Belgium and the cinemachains are doing their best to make it a safe experience.

Yes, Tenet a flop when only a percentage of theaters have re-opened and are only offering half capacity. Even drive in theaters have to close every other parking space to keep guests safe. A $20 million opening weekend in NA during a unforseen and unmatched global pandemic that America has yet to pull up the bootstraps on. Some of us still clearly living in another reality.

Soon it will be Wonder Woman 2024 big grin

And yes, Tenet IS a flop, why? It’s not possible to earn ~ 500.000.000 $ now.

What an interesting way to help a movie raise more money. Pretty interesting, what audience thinking about it? Anyway, hope we will see Wonder Woman in this year.

TENET earned a $7188 per screen average on under 3,000 screens in the middle of a pandemic. It's not a flop.

Perhaps the measure of what constitutes a hit or a flop needs to be reimagined?

  • Perhaps the measure of what constitutes a hit or a flop needs to be reimagined?

That's likely. Even Endgame and Avatar would be hard pressed to perform adequately in these conditions, and since streaming services don't share information with the now-barebones Box Office Mojo, I'm starting to think non-transparency is the way studios prefer to handle this (not that they ever owed anything to anyone other than shareholders).

    CD release ?

Probably, only digital, like most recent Watertower releases

WaterTower is still releasing some of their major titles on CD. Tenet got a CD release. The recent Interstellar expansion got a CD release. Wonder Woman 1984 is one of WB's tentpole films, so I would say the odds are better than even that it gets a CD release.

Ugh, that new track is horrible. Now I’m not so sure about this one.

I guess it's okay, but I still really wish that there was an actual long-lined theme for Wonder Woman in this series. What has been presented so far, starting back in Batman v Superman, is barely a motif, there's nothing developed about it all and it would barely even count as counterpoint in any other score of greater complexity and ambition.

Agreed! Loving everything from this so far and the early screenings are getting positive reviews

Yeah, It's what I expected and not horrible... but I wish for the day when we hear grand thematic super hero scores again. The last decade was almost a complete wash.
