Just a reminder this is happening again today at 9pm UK time.

Remember the UK is in British Summer Time now.

To be sure to get the right time, click "I'm going" on the Facebook event.

The links to the Facebook event, and to join the Zoom meeting, are three or four posts above this.

Cheers

I'll be there.

Really enjoyed todays session, getting to learn about our members and their favorite composers.

Really enjoyed todays session, getting to learn about our members and their favorite composers.

Despite my tiredness and short stay (had to get ready for work) I enjoyed meeting and hearing from some of the other members here.

Thanks for organising the discussion and steering it, Stephen. It’s so nice to see everyone safe and well. It was remiss of me to say ‘Gentlemen’ in my farewell when we had at least one lady (Laura and her impressive LP collection) present! Sorry!

Fascinating and fun. Sadly I couldn't stay to the end. May be there next time.

(Richard Street - the weird one with about 30 still-sealed CDs).

Yes, what a delightful gathering. Sorry to have missed earlier ones; the price I pay for having been on another hiatus past month or so. Oh and no, David, not the same blue shirt--but close! smile

Thanks everyone for making it another enjoyable gathering!

We're on at the same time next week.

BUT: PLEASE NOTICE:

I'm doing the logistics slightly differently this time.

Rather than ask people to 'sign up' in a Facebook event and then click the Zoom link in the date, I'm gonna keep the whole process entirely in Zoom.

So to join next week's call, please REGISTER IN ADVANCE at the Zoom link below, and then you'll get the meeting details sent to you.

Please remember to REGISTER IN ADVANCE.

Wow. How wonderful is the Intranet? I was talking to film music freaks from all over the world tonight from my living room in Glasgow Scotland. 2 hours flew in like 20 minutes. I had a ball!

It did go by fast, didn't it? Good sign. Mucho gusto, Nicolai (Nic) in Germany! cool

PS

TerraEpon, hope I didn't offend with the Carnival Of Souls reference. Glad you were able to get some light. Of course then you looked like the guy with the Bellero Shield...eek

Loved it tonight guys and girls. Wonderful to hear so many lovely stories and to be able to talk about things without looking at bored faces! smile Thanks Stephen for setting it all up.

Hope to see you next week.

Thanks once again to Stephen W for facilitating. Unfortunately my phone battery died quite abruptly about an hour in, which is why I disappeared around 10pm UK time. I'd forgotten how quickly Zoom runs down the battery time on my device!

My husband and I had a great time! We're looking forward to the next one. I was working from home so I had to get back to it which is why I ducked out early. Thanks for organizing it!

Dear Howard L. Great to meet you tonight. I remember you mentioned you had a love of classical music. I am a Bruckner fanatic. What is your opinion? Mahler or Bruckner? Also in terms of Zoom do you think I'd be able to find a Bruckner conference meeting? I don't know how the thing works. Tonight is my Zoom debut...

Missed yet another one. This basically has to be on a Friday for it to work for me. I'll keep my eyes out and see if it's organized on a Friday at some point.

I'd be happier with that as well. Maybe we can set a seperate one up for a Friday chat?
