I saw the 1975 Breakout for the first time this week. A bit of a programmer with a good cast, not quite an action classic - but when Goldsmith's music explodes early on in this cue, it briefly reaches a level of bliss:

This sounds like Chariots of Fire might've been the temp track, but Hartley made it all his own. A surprisingly melancholy end to an underrated action/comedy/drama. Was this movie underrated because people didn't get the tongue-in-cheek tone?
