But then I thought to myself, what if I couldn't purchase it from streaming services? What if the streaming service is like Amazon, who won't let me buy digital movies here in Australia? What if it's like iTunes, whose catalogue in Oz is much smaller that the one in the US? What could, or would, I do if I COULDN'T purchase the music?
Has it really gotten to the point that people cannot even tell the difference between streaming and digital downloading?
Plenty of us said we love the score. I admit, it had to grow on me. I didn't like the chanting at first. Didn't sound very Star Warsy to me. But I like it now. I don't like it when composers only reference other composers themes as motifs. If your going to reference Williams themes then go all out.
There's some amazing "romantic" music that really reminds me of the classic days of Empire Strikes Back. And the main theme, I absolutely love it. It's so catchy and exciting, I hum it all the time.
Finally I still have the score in constant rotation.
I do not own any compressed downloads,I would love this expanded score but if we are not going to have a disc release then no sale...If I had an option of a CD quality download then I would certainly consider it....

Disney Records makes their albums available as lossless downloads (in higher quality than 16bit/44.1khz CDs) on the usual sites
Colour me surprised when HDTRACKS tells me that "product not available in your country", and Qobuz tells me that their entire service is not available in Australia.
Do you see why we're so pissed off? I want to purchase products, but can't.
Tell me again what alternative I have to torrents.
It looks like you're out of luck with HDTracks though; I found many articles indicating Australian residents could buy from HD Tracks UK with no issues, but HDTracks UK just closed in March
This article was written by a US-based journalist, who I can pretty much guarantee won't have checked for availability in Oz. Whoever thought to mirror it on our version didn't check either, because when I go Qobuz's home page, I get a pop-up telling me that it's not available down under.
Since all my music are from digital files transferred to physical media (as are yours) I don't see what difference it makes as long as it's a high quality file. But whatever.
I don't tend to bring my computer in the car with me, nor into my bedroom when I listen to music.
So that big smartphone you carry around with you everywhere isn't a computer that plays music?
Storage on my cell phone is not infinite. If I want to listen to something that isn’t already on there, I have to go down to my office, power up my laptop, wait for iTunes to launch, then sync my iPhone which takes a good 10 minutes in itself. If I am planning a long trip, that’s one thing. If I am just running a few errands, it’s much easier and quicker to just grab the CD off the shelf.
