Mine arrived this morning. Well, I say that, it was actually mailed through a neighbour's door.

Did you order along with Scream (5)? Even though the website states "in stock and ready to ship" for both items, when I wrote to VS to ask about the bundle, they said switching from 2 separate SKUs to the one bundle SKU wouldn't delay my order because "Our fulfillment center is waiting on the CDs to arrive to ship out". Based on the fact that there exists an unboxing of the box set, I wondered if it is Scream (5) that is the hold up.
EDIT to add: I just watched the unboxing and it's in French. Based on that and the fact that the poster who's box set arrived this morning used the spelling "neighbour". I wonder if the international store has stock but the US store does not.
Got my (uk) order this morning. Just listening to Scream 3 now. Love Beltrami’s Scream stuff. Have to say the mixing sounds a wee bit ‘hollow’ to me but might just have to listen a bit. I’ll see what other’s think. Great to finally have this collection. Haven’t managed to get into Brian Tyler’s Scream 5 so far. Just curious and don’t remember if it was mentioned but did Marco not want to do it or was he not asked?

Considering Tyler scored the previous film of the directors I assume Beltrami was never asked. But I don't think we ever got an official confirmation about this

I actually think this set, Scream 3 in particular, sounds incredible. I really feel like the sound quality is superb, and sounds really crisp with lots of detail shining through. I don't feel it sounds "hollow", but that's just my opinion and like you Spook I'll be curious to see what others think.
I also think that the sound quality of the bonus cues (especially Scream 1) sounds wonderful. I'm kind of surprised actually...the first film's score had such a low budget and it's an older score but the quality is really impressive.

I haven't yet; did receive a shipping notice with a tracking number yesterday. Says "Shipping label created, USPS awaiting item" when I check tracking at the USPS site.

I ordered the box set + the SCREAM 5 CD from EU store. So the S5 CD is delaying my order then? Hope it wont be too long :O
That's just my theory. I don't have all of the facts. I'm trying to see who has received what and where they ordered from. One of my theories was that the UK store had stock of both but if your from the UK and still waiting for S5, there goes that theory.

Thanks Deputy. I think it was just an initial reaction as the usual settings I had just sounded a bit ‘off’ . I listened to the 2nd Scream 3 disc on a set of headphones and it sounded pretty good. Love that unique sound Marco brings to these scores.

Yes! Just booked tickets for Friday! So excited!! I have stayed away from all kinds of spoilers. Havent even watched the trailer. But I’ve heard very good things about it!

Particularly, if you compare the sound quality of the old 30-minute Varese Scream 3 cd to the same tracks on the new Scream 3 complete album, they new versions sound MUCH better.
