Cannot wait, but, isn't 1500 copies just too few? An entire month has gone by and this title is not out of stock yet. So, it looks like 1,500 copies was a good number.

Wow! This release is quite a transformation. I can’t workout if this is more to do with new film edits or the new mastering. A lot of new details and a feeling of many cues having a completely different feel to the previous Varese Deluxe. I do love the squeeze toy sound.

That’s great to hear, Nils. I love both these scores and the films themselves are probably my two favorite Dante films! (Though Innerspace is up there…) Yavar

Also, I remembered being annoyed earlier by the rubber duck effects in a few of the tracks in THE 'BURBS ("this is destroying good music!"), but this time I laughed out loud when I heard them. So, it seems it's possible to get LESS grumpy with age. That's a good sign. Goldsmith was definitely using a lot of gags into his music to make it more comedy in the tone but he could also do it with instruments Mrs. Deagle cue from GREMLINS shows this perfectly I won't say a rubber duck ruin music if that was what the composer intended - like he did in GREMLINS 2 for the kitchen chaos scene

It's also available as a digital download on Qobuz, sans the bonus/alternate tracks. This is not the new LLL master. Neil OK, thanks for clearing that up, then this should be the same master as the Varèse Sarabande Deluxe Edition?

This score is such an easy listen from start to finish. Really happy it got the LLL treatment. I love how Goldsmith seemed to score parts of it like a serious movie.

these tracks are identical on the LLL and the Varèse Edition. This is also incorrect. The LLL adds at least two cues to the main program. Yavar

Look earlier in this very thread and you’ll see producer Neil S. Bulk answered the question on Nov. 24, after David Lichty identified some differences in the programs. Yavar

Look earlier in this very thread and you’ll see producer Neil S. Bulk answered the question on Nov. 24. Yavar If you are referring to this: -- "Solid Floors" is previously unreleased. The previous "Home Furnace" was really a short version of "No Beer." The previous "No Lights" was really "Home Furnace," meaning the actual "No Lights" debuts on this release. It still hurts my head trying to keep all of this straight. It seems some cues are then different(ly named), but as I said, that is not readily obvious when you look at the tracks of the Varèse, the Back Lot Music, and the La La Land, as the tracklisting of these three releases is pretty much identical.
