I discovered this podcast, The Soundtrack show, currently posting episodes focusing on the music of Star Trek TOS. I've listened to his first two episodes and I learned so much background history on Alexander Courage and company and the machinations behind how music was conceived, budgeted and produced for the series. And by a lovely coincidence, I'm also finding it a wonderful supplement owning and enjoying the first volume of La La Land Records' 1701 Collection. Since I never bought their complete box set, I plan to buy subsequent volumes of the 1701 Collection. Until I own them all, I look forward to listening to future TOS installments from this podcast. https://www.iheart.com/podcast/105-the-soundtrack-show-29021108/

I can't resist: any news about "It Takes A Thief", the 1966 "Batman"- show, "The Rockford-Files", "Magnum, p.i.", "The A-Team", "Airwolf", "Miami Vice" & "MacGyver"? There's a different thread for that: https://filmscoremonthly.com/board/posts.cfm?threadID=118900&forumID=1&archive=0&pageID=28&r=854#bottom Yes, I know that. It was more a joke, because of MV's statement at the beginning of this thread: "If you have any more questions regarding STAR TREK ONLY please feel free to ask away in this thread. If you start asking questions in this thread about other properties other than TREK I will personally banish you to Ceti Alpha V. smile LLAP MV"
