A film critic colleague of mine, who's also a massive fan of film and score, was JUST too late to snatch a signed copy. He was gutted. But he wondered if the score maybe had an LP reissue on the horizon, like what happened with SCARFACE (he bought both the CD and LP versions of SCARFACE), and perhaps signed too, so he would hold out until then. I'm guessing the guys at LLL can't say anything about that at the present time, but I thought I should put it out there.

Do we think all 5000 copies will sell out soon?

We don't know. But like any other title, an initial run of the 5,000 copies, was probably pressed, so that initial run may sell out and then the waiting game for a second run.

But I suspect it'll be like Ferris Bueller's Day Off -- turn out to be one of their best sellers.

I’m hopeful they sell out of all copies. I feel confident they will as this movie has a bigger audience from us film score nuts and that’s key to selling out every copy.

It will take years to sell 5000 copies. I'm sure they get 2 or 3 thousand out the door pretty quickly, after that a substantial slow down.

1. Yes this is it for March. I think that's enough, don't you?

Yes.

Still waiting for an official release of the instrumental version of Take My Breath Away.

Disc 1, track 11: "Love Scene" (There's a 90-second sample on LLL's store page).
Is that what you're after?

I'm glad to hear about that. I'd always hoped that other John Hughes films would get a similar treatment from LLL.

Got mine too!!!

LLL probably wanted to give themselves some wiggle room due to recent manufacturer issues.

That makes sense. I completely see why they might want to do that. Plus, it's a win-win because this was a really pleasant surprise! big grin
