First of all, thank you Lukas. This is wonderful news. Not to beat a dead horse but the search option. This may have been mentioned, but I would love to be able to share album art like others do. I know there is a current way to do it but it's antiquated and I am not the only one who has issues with it. Any improvement to sharing images would be awesome.
Thanks again and I look forward to the changes.
Edit: I read Thor's post and I agree that the board has a certain charm that I don't want to see disappear. The search feature and embedding option seem to be among the most popular.
I'd like a button to make some members post more. Eh edw?
Come to that, maybe a button to make some members post less lol
Ah Bill, you always make me smile. I read often but don't post much. I need to find more time and with my retirement looming in 2024, I may just have that time.

Retirement = a wonderful thing, less stress. Well I think so anyway.
If this were to be added, I would recommend using Home Theater Forum as reference. In addition to the usual “like” and “dislike” options, it also includes to mark another’s post with “love,” “insightful,” “amused,” or simply “agree.”
Yes...agreed.
A variety of different emojis (ala Facebook) would be nice too.

For you, not your significant other.
There's no other significant or otherwise. ( not as I write anyway). So my time is nearly all my own.

One thing that would really help would be a better quotation system that indicates who was quoted and that isn't just italics. And yes, an improved search function of course; perhaps simple integration of the Google Search.
Can we have a hand that physically comes out of Last Child's computer screen and slaps him every time he uses the image code incorrectly and posts black squares with X's on them indicating he's done it the wrong way?
Have only partially read through all the posts but it's easy:
1. Easier embedding of YouTube videos using the "embed code" - works well in other forums.
2. A "search" function that actually searches for keywords like movie titles or composer names. Doesn't matter if I search in posts or topics I never get any usable results when I search for any given title.
3. The possibility to delete double posts!
Thanks, Lukas, for all your work and dedication through the decades. Keep up the good work!
1. Most forums nowadays remember the last post at the time you opened the page, so that you can click an icon next to the thread and it takes you to your next unread post (i.e. the position you were at the last time you opened the thread). Implementing that would be my No. 1 choice.
How about the site keeps the place of where each user left off so that you don't have to go to the very last post of a thread and then back-track to where you left off?
For the life of me I can't get simple photos to show up in my posts. Tell me, what am I doing wrong or missing here? I tried each and every code a picture upload website gives me but to no avail.
