In the last 12 months or so, the local (Australian) distributor for Naxos/Marco Polo were really clearing stock and that included a lot of the Morgan-Stromberg classic film recordings. Many of their otherwise OOP titles could be found for a couple of dollars apiece, and I took the opportunity to fill the gaps.

Definitely a good deal. I looked up eBay just now though and a couple of sealed copies recently ended for around the $15 range.

I'm not gonna get it, but whoever is wanting Bernard Herrmann's TAXI DRIVER should snap it up from SAE, it's $5 there:

Awesome find, Mr. Jack, especially since that CD goes for $45+ on amazon. That is one of my favorite films of all time, and one of my favorite Morricone scores as well (like the film itself, the score is somewhat of a parody of previous works). My favorite scene is when "Nessuno" participates in the drinking game at the saloon, and pimpslaps the crap out of the wannabe sharpshooter, Squirrel. "Lucky skunk!" big grin

Wow! Is this OOP now? It's one of my favorite Terrance Hill movies, too. Besides the saloon bitch-slap showdown, I love the scene with that dummy on a pole with the boxing gloves. big grin
