For me, it will always be John Corigliano (I know, he is a concert hall composer who occasionally does film scores), and ever since ALTERED STATES, I have been a disciple and torchbearer of his for over 35 years, and still think he is an extremely handsome man who still looks younger than his age.
My fellow Norwegian film composer K. Dyrud is pretty damn hot (God, I hope she's not reading this): http://www.kristindyrud.com/ . She's also very talented.
Otherwise, I echo the picks above.
In terms of guys, I'm guessing Brian Tyler qualifies?
Heck, didn't know there was a norwegian girl writing Hollywood film music.
Most (not all) of the film composers that I listen to are goofy looking white males, the kind of guys you would see on the golf course, at an adult book store, or at a republican fundraiser.
So none of them rate "hot" for me.
I suppose Q had a Johnson sort of vibe. If you watched Mitchell and Webb's "Peep Show," you will know what I mean.
