This is my absolute favorite thread on this message board.

I have never seen such hard work in searching and collaborating across the globe in soundtrack archeology. I have had the privilege of corresponding with PrimeEvil for the better part of a decade, and he's doing amazing work. Amazing isn't the right word.

Even if you're reading this, and you aren't invested in the music of Creepshow, you should know that PrimeEvil has been absolutely relentless in his tenacity to locate these library cues, track by track. Sifting through grains of musical sand. It's an effort that is both daunting and exciting.

I feel very lucky to be working with PrimeEvil on this.

Here's a bunch more to add to the list. Now there are only TWO tracks left to be identified, both from Jordy! The three classical pieces from The Crate have been identified, but unfortunately we have not been able to acquire the actual recordings.

And just like that, another was found!

24:32 - George Hormel : Exotic Movement (From Capitol Hi-Q Series D 39-40 - Heavy Drama, Suspense)
The end section of this track plays as Jordy pours out the meteor shit, and plays once more as he first notices the growth on his fingers.

Ok, here's another update. And there won't be anymore after this, because there are no more library tracks to find!

28:26 - Phillip Green : Eerie [From Capitol Hi-Q Series D 45]
Begins directly after Jordy discovers the green growth on his tounge in the mirror. Plays again immediately after Jordy's suicide.

1:01.04 - Erik Markman : Rondo [From Capitol Media Music Release 15 No.8 - Classical String Quartets]
Begins as the scene switches from Mike at Amberson Hall, to the garden party, where we are first introduced to Dex, Henry and Billie.

1:02.18 - Erik Markman : Sicilienne [From Capitol Media Music Release 15 No.8 - Classical String Quartets]
Begins as Bille drags Richard and Tabitha over to the drinks table, because they're dry and "don't know what they're doing".

1:04.58 - Erik Markman : Invention [From Capitol Media Music Release 15 No.8 - Classical String Quartets]
Plays as Dex jumps in his car to leave the garden party and make his way over to Amberson Hall.

And that's it! Nothing else left to discover! I guess all good things must come to an end. Thank you everyone for playing smile See ya round.

What an amazing quest you had on this Sean. You must have mixed feelings on it being over as you have spent so much time and energy in this project. Will you be making this available at all? I can understand if the answer is no.
Well done in completing it.

Congrats !!! Thanks for your amazing detective work.
Maybe someday a definite edition of CREEPSHOW including also all these Capitol tracks and not only the OGM library cues will be possible.

The quest is complete...and what a noble one it was.

Thank you for all your hard work on this!

I was shocked when the last track was found, when I realised there was nothing left to look for. It was certainly bittersweet.

I won’t be sharing anything because I don’t want to jeopardise a possible official release.

And I thought we were all done here. Silly me. Here is the FINAL library track from Creepshow, which I identified just this morning. Pieces of it play over another track, and for whatever reason, I'd never even given it that much thought that it could be a library cue.

56:40 - Neil Amsterdam : Rhythm Variety #11 (From Capitol Media Music Release 9 No.9 - Rhythm Action. Also on Capitol Hi-Q Series X 181-182)
Pieces of this track begin to play directly after Richard saying "Who's out there?", and the water zombies make their way through the house. Layered over Ghostville.

NOW we're done.

Heheheh

Funny how a 2 second piano bit can re-energize my interest in completing this.

Michael Gornick did a lot of editing of piano and percussion stingers into certain scenes, as we just found out. It's insane. But I'd say we're 99.9999% there.

Besides all the library cues. Do we have all the music composed for the film.

No, and it’s a shame. Much of what has been released of Harrison’s original score are alternates to what is in the film. And there are extended sequences and many cues that have never seen the light of day. I asked Mr Harrison 2 years ago about it, and he seemed genuinely unaware that all of his music has not been released.

I would love to think Warner Brothers has... something more on this and that we haven’t heard the last of this wonderful score.

If they were to release the complete score without the library tracks I would fine with that since I just need the unreleased Harrison cues. I already have all the library cues that have be identified

It can’t be understated how much we owe our thanks to the OP Primevil (Sean). We’re it not for him, I don’t think we’d be enjoying the information and access which he shared freely after years of effort.

Going through something to tide you over. Rhythm Variety overlays in one spot on Ib Glindemann : Mysterioso I. Which continues after Ghostville. Where Ghostville overlays onto Ghostville the first time it plays. I can't figure out the overlay on Tide & Research at 8:01 the last 19 seconds are overlayed on Tide & Research

I'm trying to figure out where you are here. What is the film time stamp? Unless I'm missing something, Tide Research does not appear in Something to Tide You Over (despite their name similarities), it is only in Father's Day.

I was talking about Father's Day at 8:01 it overlays half way through Tide & Research

Phillip Green : Eerie [From Capitol Hi-Q Series D 45]

That is the only track I don't have and I'm having trouble finding it. I also notice in Father's Day there is an overlay on Henry Goes Looking and through the 30 seconds of Mediation. It sounds like ghostly moans but I think that was created for the score and not a library track.
