I am looking for somebody in the U.S. who could help a longtime FSM subscriber and collector from Australia buy a copy of Omni Music Publishing's BACK TO THE FUTURE score book. It is only licensed for North American sale. So we're looking for somebody in the U.S. to buy a copy and mail it to Australia. (I'm not set up to handle this at the moment.)
That scene is so incredibly gripping. I still remember the sensation of watching that all unfold starting with the weather anomalies and climaxing with the 1st person being disintegrated. And then it never really lets up until the basement sequences. I dont get thrilled that often anymore - felt like a kid again
I love how Williams brings back the low chorus from CEOT3K's Abduction of Barry in the Ferry Scene when the Tripod head emerges from the water. So menacing
it is a good film, but this in right in the middle of his films all shot very de-saturated and grey, which was unfortunate. There was some cliched idea around that time that 'the future' needs to be colorless, which is really odd and silly.
Yeah, that write-up brought me back to seeing that in the theater. The film does run out of steam, but first two thirds are as visceral and hair-raising as anything Spielberg has done.
