I just want to thank the La-La-Land gang for all you do. This year has been magnificent as far as scores are concerned and it's been largely your doing.
*If* you're able to disclose at the current time, do any of the remaining 2017 dates include another Star Trek release (I'm thinking Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Collection Volume 2 if I remember prior discussions of this subject?)?
Here are LLL's release dates for the next 15 months
With SUPERMAN:THE MOVIE's 40th Anniversary looming ahead next year-will LLL venture to issue a standalone soundtrack album set-say 3 or 4cd set presentation? Also will THE SUPERMAN THE ANIMATED SERIES see another volume set as well?

I hope so. Id tripple dip on this. I love the Blue Box but would love to have all 4 scores separately. They did Superman Returns so I dont see why not.
Any idea when the next titles might be announced? I've come into a little bit of money and am considering buying an old release I don't have... not sure if I should save it or not.

I would definitely be up for the Animated Series Vol 2 but with regards to the film scores these have been comprehensively covered in the Blue Box which is still available, would the standalone CD's attract much enthusiasm!

I'm sure many score fans and casual film music fans would love to have Superman The Movie as a stand alone. It's the best score in the series. It's iconic, and it's John Williams. I mostly purchased the box set for that one score, and I know people who never purchased the expensive box set because they just wanted that one score.

This would be the ideal, as I never picked up the Blue Box.
The Superman scores deserve the same treatment as the Jaws releases from Intrada.

I was thinking about this the other day (while listening to the Blue Box, of course).
Can Superman: The Movie really be improved? Or is the BB the final word?
I'm so happy the BB sits on my shelf, but I really only ever listen to Superman I. I know the other scores have fans, but there's not much I've ever gotten out of them. OTOH, I listen to Superman Return quite frequently.
La La Land, thanks for your release of John Morris' "The In-Laws" in 2014. I'm a huge Morris fan and am wondering if you have plans for more of his scores? Thanks!

I would love to, but you folks totally ignored some of his great releases. To see all those unsold In Laws cds makes me weep.
Thanks for your reply. I bought "The In-Laws" almost as soon as it went on sale. What a great score! I don't know why more copies weren't sold. More people need to listen to Morris scores because he's one of the most under-appreciated film composers ever. His melodies are some of the most beautiful you'll ever hear.
