Just as I was about to try the number, I was sent an email by MUSICTODAY, the warehouse that shipped the CD. Basically, low inventory may prevent an immediate correct shipping, but I was informed that some units may be available and it is being looked into. I suspect about 5 years from now people will be trying to get rid of them, like laser-discs. It is a fad within a niche without a purpose. And Target just devoted MORE space to vinyl, pushing out Blu-Ray/UHD/DVD even more. I finally even caved on this vinyl resurgence due to some exclusive physical releases while calling the whole thing "stupid" as I did it. I go to play my first vinyl in decades and.... ahhhhh.... POP.... CRACKLE..... POP..... I don't even remember this much struggle when I last used these in the 70s/80s. Do I have to brush them? That didn't work.... let me rub that spot.... ok, that got rid of that pop.... CRACKLE.... let me google.... I'm supposed to WASH them? What I've gathered is that it has nothing to do with the sound. It's about larger artwork and different colors. And I almost THOUGHT about the LP for Dial of Destiny... maybe I would've resorted to it if the CD hadn't shipped. I did finally pick up "The Pirate Movie" soundtrack that I was eyeing at Target back in 1982. 40 years later and it is now mine! Further update: apparently a copy was found, an order placed for shipment to me, and I'll be notified when it's in transit. All in all, I think they've handled this very well. Hope it continues along that line. I did inquire about JEDI (I'll avoid the "Return" puns ), but I kind of doubt they'll want it sent back.
