With a little care and giving a shit, this could have been a great upgrade from the Concord set. Instead, it's just a repackaging of already released stuff at a higher price. You can still get the individual Concord CDs of the first 4 for cheap. They're digipaks but the content is the same. So for the jewel cases and fancy box (and this artificially rare DoD CD) they're charging $150. Oh and it'll sell. And it'll go on the eBay for zillions. I replaced my "lost in the fire" Concord box set for $75 sealed last year. It's a treasure I am 100% satisfied with until score expansions are released. Which, thanks to this (and I'm sure Mr. Williams' wishes) won't be for a long assed time. I even prefer the understated design of the Concord box which is a nice sturdy cardboard "faux leather" case.

They're digipaks but the content is the same. Old Concord's versions were released in jewel cases too - in EU. I have them.

Well, I got the original Concord set and INDY 5 on CD, so no need for me to get the new box.

Listening to Dial of Destiny again… and again… and again… And I must say no new score this year has been a more enjoyable experience for me.

$30 per score would be amazing if these were two CD complete score sets for each. $30 for each score as a single CD is just… mystifying. How do they get off charging this much when they were recently selling the DoD disc on its own for so little? Yavar

And presumably there goes any hope of getting proper expansions on these titles. 150 for a boxset of properly remastered and expanded scores by MM with each film across multiple discs would be an instant and must-have purchase. Between the demastered Star Wars releases and now this I have little hope left these film scores will ever get the proper release they deserve. I'm sure a lot of this has to do with John Williams' wishes as well. He preferred the edited "Desert Chase" be in the Concord release and he's no doubt responsible for the last two film scores being "concert cuts" of everything. And since he's gonna live forever, let's just be happy with that.

And more than I paid for the original Concord set (which seems identical, except it did obviously not include DoD, but did include a disc with extra music and an interview), which I bought almost to the day 14 years ago for about €27.- new in Cologne's Saturn Music Dome.

So, just to clarify, this new set is identical in musical content to the Concord box with the following two exceptions? •The addition of Dial of Destiny •The omission of the Bonus Disc That seems to be it in a nutshell.
