Really good variations of the Supergirl Main Theme. I guess I was kinda hoping that was the reason for its delay. To change the album and make it a «proper» one, lol Just finished season 4 now (will do S5 tomorrow), and it was actually surprisingly well mixed together compared to the other releases this year! I didnt think much about it being lots of cues slapped together in the same track. I can think of only one track where there was a few seconds of silence before the next cue started. The wholw album is about 90% action. Missed a bit more emotional moments cause its always nice to «breathe» a little between the battles. But it was mostly good action music! Really liked the Lex Luthor theme/track. «Chained and Jailed» started off a little boring but suddenly it became really awesome! And it even had a really cool variation of the theme(?) from «Interview Granted» from S1 OST! I'm a HUGE fan of these shows and specially the score by Blake Neely! Yes, they can be a bit cheesy but I like cheesy He has some really great melodies and he is very character theme driven. Which is something I like. Just found out that he has finally uploaded hours of expanded score from each season from all the shows! Around 4-5 hours of extra score! Gonna take me several days to finish this all! There's so much, I have to make playlists in my iTunes for each show and add to that the cues I really enjoy. Well not exactly. I’ve seen nothing new for legends of tomorrow. I’m kind of wondering when this is going to come out. Does anyone know? You forgot Riverdale 3 & 4. Still to be released: You, season 1 You, season 2 Thats alot of score! Lol! YOU is in mastering since october last year. I hope it sounds good Thats really a lot of score: ~1400 minutes. Thats 23 hours... Listening to both LoT albums now and they are good. Not as good as Seasons 1 & 2 but here and there are really awesome moments. With Elseworlds and Crisis are these two my favorites of this years Neely run. But I really miss the memorable melodies and battle cues (in all Arrowverse albums this year, except Crisis). Most of the cues seem to be like 30 seconds long and then put together until 5 minutes are filled... Not a good listening expirience. Remember Flash S2 & Legends S1? Both Seasons had a villain theme which was heard in multiple tracks in the album and then culminated in an epic end battle cue. There was a musical narrative. This years albums just starts and then stops after 78 minutes. And most of the battle cues, mainly in Supergirl and Legends, sound the same: Brass staccato overflow (most likely written by Daniel James Chan because it started with each shows third season).    Posted:   Oct 8, 2021 - 3:30 AM     By:   DaveM   (Member) Guess thats it from the Arrowverse for now. nope. I noticed that WaterTower has recently released a bunch of DC related soundtracks, including soundtracks for the remaining seasons of Gotham, Stargirl season 1, and soundtracks for the Harley Quinn animated series, so I was hoping these releases would inspire releases of more Arrowverse, err, CWverse, music. Stargirl is a good album! Looking forward to more Neely albums. It's too bad LLL wasn't making enough off them, I guess others like me decided streaming was good enough for these. Don't see any remaining seasons of Gotham released. I don’t see any CD and I don’t see any digital release. So either they were yanked within a year of being released or they never were released. Correction. They are on spotify but nowhere on cd or digital download. Very weird. If it was ever out there (cd or digital download) it was very brief. Its only a little over a year later from release date of August 2020. Rereading press release it was released by composer for streaming and digital download. Maybe issue with a studio? And I usally like less and longer tracks than every cue as a singular track. But this is too much. There are some "suites" that can be split into three different tracks without heavy editing because of 1-2 second long gaps between those merged tracks. But other Suites are really good. The last 4 tracks of "Elseworlds" for example. No need for editing. I did the same with Flash 5&6, Batwoman 1 and Legends 4&5. I also fixed the awful mastering errors in "He Fought To His Last Breath" at 1:08 and "Last Temptation Of Barry Allen" at 2:55. Does it improve the listening flow? probably not. Does it improve the use for best-of playlists? hell yes! The track list is a bit messy because I have no idea what happens in the arrowverse since 2017 and therefore couldn't change the titles: Crisis On Infinite Earths: 01. In The Beginning 1 (2:22) 02. And I have actually started on Arrow S7 with this exact same thing. Even have names on the different cues. Cause, as thankful as I am for the score to be released, the presentations are just god damn awful, frustrating and has absolutely no flow at all. I know this is not the composers fault cause he was probably given a "max 15 tracks to master" by Water Tower. I dont really understand why they force him to do this as they dont do this with other releases... Would like to do this to all the new releases, but hardest part is actually to come up with new names!
