I only heard this score as a backdrop to the Godzilla movies my brother watched as a little kid. Hearing it on youtube was a delightful revelation, and I'm convinced this would make an awesome rerecording.
"I am fearful when I see people substituting fear for reason." The Day The Earth Stood Still (1951) [La-La Land Records Reissue] - Bernard Herrmann
"My name is Barry Allen and I'm the fastest man alive." The Flash (Original Television Soundtrack: Season 3) - Blake Neely
"You should have gone for the head." Avengers: Infinity War (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) - Alan Silvestri
This score neither measures up to it's own potential or the film's premise. It's rather uneventful for the most part. The majority of the cues feel anonymous with one another on the album. It's functional in context but mostly un-engaging on this album. Hopefully Silvestri steps up his game for Avengers: Endgame, but I won't hold my breath.
"Stories don't end. They only go their separate ways. We take leave of them. Not knowing what comes after." Tulip Fever (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) - Danny Elfman
"No one understands the lonely perfection of my dreams. I found perfection here. I've created it. A perfect organism." Alien: Covenant (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) - Jed Kurzel
