Got my order today (Army of Darkness and seaQuest DSV) in perfect condition. It took a week to get from the UK to The Netherlands.

I received my order as well today (the Stephen King Soundtrack Collection) in perfect condition. I also live in the Netherlands.

I got my order for Seaquest and U.S Marshalls in the post today.Surprisngly the cds are undamaged which is a first for a delivery from Varese.

Pity about the complete cock up they made of Seaquests booklet pics and liner notes though!

Steve and Dave, it looks as though Verese has actually bumped prices up a bit more, so if anything, they are now a little bit more costly (in UK terms, about +£1.50 per title) than would have been the case had you made a move a bit earlier. I must admit, I've been wondering why Varese has made the adjustments. My guess is they have noted the increased rate of sales currently taking place and adjudge what they have done is fair considering the cost of all their items being sold elsewhere within the same marketplace. So, glad I moved when I did because all 4 items I went for are now that little bit more costly.

Whilst those prices did go up by about £1.50 per title, at some point they've come down again. US MARSHALS and AIR FORCE ONE are now only 50p more than when I bought them (on Day One), and DRACULA is £1 more.

Has anyone experienced a problem with his order? I chose the trackable couriered delivery option and wasn't home at the time the parcel was delivered. After inquiring my local DPD department informed me that my parcel is lost. Even with the tracking code they cannot find it. They told me to contact the sender. So I did (more than three times now via mail help@awesomedistro.com). So far no reply whatsoever.

Although I appreciate the UK Varese initiative, their customer service leaves much to be desired. If there is a next time I will chose the cheaper Royal Mail option. As for now I see no other choice than to contact my credit card service. Not a good start Varese... frown

Did you order from UK . If so did you email the UK email ( cNt Denver address right now. They answered me very quickly.

I contacted DPD's german and UK departments. They told me to contact the sender/seller. So I used the mail address of the Varese International shop: help@awesomedistro.com. Without success... They didn't respond to any of my mails... frown

All I can say is that they replied to my first email within ten/fifteen minutes. It was a Friday, I think. My second took a few hours,maybe that was because it was a Saturday. Try again on Monday. It might be an office hours thing.

Check your spam/junk folder.

I note that Family Plot has gone up by about £4 (still on sale).

That's par for the course these days. I've had a package from Fedex in transit from Italy for roughly the same time. I wouldn't panic yet.

That's par for the course these days. I've had a package from Fedex in transit from Italy for roughly the same time. I wouldn't panic yet.


My order was sent on june 16 and I got it today. I live in Finland.

Things are just sitting around in airports or mail hubs for days/weeks at the moment. It'll get to you, don't worry about it.

It had a tracking number but but it did not function. "but tracking information is not available for this service". Two weeks is quite normal for mail to Finland from UK.

I had a tracking number for a tracked delivery to a UK address - so, from UK to UK - otherwise I would not have bothered. During the transit period there was no tracking information available, although I was given a tracking number.

Only when the signed for delivery took place did the tracking info page on the Royal Mail website indicate the package had been signed for and delivered. With things being the way they are, that seemed good enough to me.

Welcome to the club... It doesn't look good. According to the last tracking information my package arrived in Germany and was out for delivery. After that nothing. Neither DPD UK nor DPD Germany could locate the package any more. The german customer service told me my package is lost and I should contact the sender.

I used the mail provided by the Varese International site and informed them about the situation. In the course of last week I wrote them 3 mails. Therefore it cannot be an office hours thing. I'm still waiting for a reply. I also checked my spam folder. Nothing. frown
