Many thanks, but not to worry, Onya, I took your anti-pedal-extensions screed in the spirit you intended and tried to respond in kind, so I'm sorry if I ended up sounding (again no pun intended) heavy-handed. Happily, my long-ago encounter with the bus is behind me now, and I'm the picture of health, and wishing the same for you, (the health, not the bus).

Ah, so! I probably haven't seen that page since the thread began in 2009 -- which happened to be while I was beginning my recovery from being hit by that bus. Today, I can tell I was so out of it that I never noticed the glitch that had attacked my little post, because I never attempted to rectify the situation in my customary fashion, which is to delete each duplication and substitute: "SNAFU." At this late date, I wouldn't dream of altering my original post(s) because it would spoil all the delightful reactions to it(them), including of course yours. Thanks for the laughs! I need 'em now even more than I did in 2009.
