Cool! Equus is a great score by a marvellous composer...and no dialogue? Perfect. Is this one remastered as well Bruce?

Completely remastered and sounding better than ever. I don't think I've made any bones about the fact that I was never fond of the Ryko sound - thin and constricted with very little bottom and never enough guts for me, nor enough air on top. It's fun to revisit these ten or twelve year old things - I think every one of these that we've done has been improved - some dramatically, some a little.

I'm currently thinking about doing another, although I'm just not sure there'd be enough sales in it - but boy, do I know it could sound a LOT better and it's such a brilliant score I might just do it.

Hmmmm....I Want To Live perhaps?

Too early to even hint yet, as I haven't made a final decision - it's just one I know that the improvement would be dramatic - I listened to it today and there's just so little low end and it should sound gorgeous on the high end and it just doesn't. We shall see.

If you're not hinting to what I hope you're not hinting to, such a release would be magnificent, indeed.

I think I'd be in seventh heaven if you're right Josh...

Bruce - I just listened to both scores in full - oddly enough, I love The Whisperers more than I do Equus. I'm really starting to see why so many people love John Barry now. Short and sweet.

Anyway, hopefully I can pick up a copy from you, depending on how the situation with my finances goes...

I think your appreciation for Equus will grow hugely when you hear the score tracks uninterrupted by talking.

Apart from the Bond titles I've never made a jump from the Rykos - this time I mightwink I have very fond memories of the series. Mainly because all of these very easily available when I started seriously collecting about ten years ago. I've learned to appreciate most of them. I started off with "What's New Pussycat?" and "Some Like It Hot" - and "Octopussy", "The Living Daylights", "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" a bit later. Seen retrospectively, they were really a great thing: I would see these movies on TV or video - and then just walk into the store and pick them up. Things were different before - and they are different now. Not only, are the CDs no longer available in stores, the movies have also disappeared from TV now.

With the Rhino titles it was a bit different. Since there wasn't a major distributor for them, all of them were major investments for a student. I spent about half a year to finally obtain a copy of "An American In Paris" - and the clerks were visibly confused with the Rozsa set.

And then amazon came alongwink

I received it three days ago and I keep on listening to this amazing soundtrack.

Predator, Spacecamp, Conan, stand aside! Now I have ears only for A bridge too far!

In that case, why don't you instead of posting here, email whatever company you purchased this item from and inform them of this issue?

That would more then likely be more helpful in resolving the issue then just posting here.

Do you try that FIRST before posting here (For the very first time it seems)?

a little civility from you, wouldn't go a miss.

And yes, I HAVE contacted them A COUPLE OF TIMES, and got NO RESPONSE.

I beg your pardon????,

You really should at this point, because you are starting to be a bit of jerk.....

OK, you've not crossed the line of being a total jerk and clueless as well.

I was being fairly civil.

And yes, I HAVE contacted them A COUPLE OF TIMES, and got NO RESPONSE.

Well, if they ar US based company they are more then likely closed for the holiday.

try CALLING THEM Monday during normal business hours..

As a rule most companies have their phone numbers listed on their sites.

Even if it's a overseas company, they is something that I would suggest as well.

This course of action is vastly more productive and will resolve your issue then just bitching here as a rule.

So how are all YOUR satisfied customers over at BSX then, Ford?.......oh that's right, you haven't got any!.

You need to look in YOUR OWN backyard first dude - before becoming the self-proclaimed spokesman of somebody else's company.

Someone has issues I see.

Is using a telephone something that upsets you?

I don't recall making any such comment, just offering some worthwile advice to help solve your problem.

It appears that doesn't interest you.

Why is that?

And if you can't find the phone number email me and I'll then happy to provide you with one, I'm sure I have it on file someplace.

That's called "Being Helpful"..

Neil - it's a little disingenuous to say you haven't received something after all this time without mentioning who you ordered it from, followed by "something is definitely up."

If you ordered from us, we respond to each and every e-mail that comes in, usually within an hour to two - so if you're saying you haven't received a response then I'm assuming you ordered it elsewhere, which you should say.

I can certainly attest to this. I emailed Bruce when my copy of Sadismo failed to appear. He promptly responded. I allowed several more days in case the original might appear. When it still didn't arrive, I dropped him a follow up email. He was kind enough to reship a copy to me which arrived the same day Dead of Winter arrived.

I won't do it, it just too easy......

Back to the point at hand, who did you get this item from EXACTLY?

That bit of information you didn't convey to us.

Did you buy it directly from KRITZERLAND's site or another vendor?

With that information either myself or Mr. Kimmel would be able to help you resolve your issue?

that's what you want isn't it?
