The ones to beat are this guy and George Fenton.

Yoko Kanno

Speaking of which, how we do have no threads on the music of Stand Alone Complex? That will have to change soon...

For the fun of it, how about that picture of François de Roubaix:

Maurice Jarre also had a real touch of class.

While I can say there are some attractive female film composers, I can't say I can name any that I would call sexy.

As a matter of fact, aside from obvious male/female names, I don't even know what the vast majority (male or female) look like, what sex they are, or skin color.

Now, I could probably name a handful of sexy musicians.

Agree on female composers. Not enough of them so that limited choice. Maybe Rachel Portman.

Brian Tyler, no contest.
Young Goldenthal was also quite dashing. He and Julie Taymor still make for a supremely beautiful creator couple.

I second Yoko Kanno!

Aaaaand a vote for the truly stunning Zoe Poledouris (yes, she's a legitimate film composer!)

While Paul McCartney isn't my choice as the sexiest Beatle, he might be someone's choice for the sexiest film composer (I just learned he did THE FAMILY WAY).

This is an old thread and I already responded way back when. but I gave it a second thought.

Based on success with the opposite sex..John Barry married Jane Birkin.

Game over. We have a winner. John Barry must be the sexiest film composer ever. He got JANE BIRKIN!

LOL... what kind of a question is that.

Hmm... in terms of "sexy", the one film composer that comes to my mind off hand is Julie Delpy.

Thomas Newman (above) looks like Germany World Cup-winning manager Joachim Löw (belöw).

I think the resemblance is pretty darn close. Hopefully Thomas Newman will one day win that Oscar so that his career will finally be validated. wink

Hey DavidinBerkeley, what's with the Luke Perry avatar? wink

Didn't Clint Eastwood do one film score?

I think he's done more than one now, so he rates.

That's Guy Madison, who sadly did not do any film scores. If he did, he'd blow away the competition! smile
