I'd like to watch the whole series again someday. Last watched it when our 3 girls (nieces) were growing up (they're late 20s/early 30s now). Just played The Weight Of The World tracks by Wander and those dreamy/ethereal cues for inside Buffy's mind and the Willow/Spike scenes are just gorgeous.

Another way to look at season six is that it show cased how Buffy wasn't so caught up in her own little world and just going by the motions to certain degrees, that she failed to see her friends and family around her were falling apart.

Ron, that thread brought back memories. We had several great Buffy threads that talked about each episode. I miss Cooper and MWruger. Yep. I miss your insights, too!! i sometimes revisit all those threads because they truly covered all the individual episodes, their scores and the story lines.

More Angel highlights: 1x05 had two or three nice moments in Cordelias first night 1x08 21:12 Buffy/Angel love theme in major 39:37 Buffy/Angel theme 1x09 18:05 (cue starts earlier but the cool part starts here) Doyle sees dead people 39:51 (cue starts earlier but the cool part starts here) Doyles sacrifice 1x11 30.30 that georgeos montage cue Imho, S1 of Angel is better than S5-7 of Buffy. The dialoges are hilarious: The one 1x03 with Oz and Angel, ALL sensitivity lines 1x06 and every word from Cordelia is utterly brilliant. I really didn't expect Doyles death in 1x09. That was a total suprise. Also for the editor because the actor is still present in the 1x10 intro credits. In 1x08 at 15:16 and 15:21 is a boommike or something we should'nt see on the left. But Angel (unlike Buffy) seems to produced in the 16:9 aspect ratio. Like Buffy I watch Angel on Disney+ but Angel didnt seem to get the """"""""remaster"""""""" treatment as Buffy whith the weird picture cropping and absolutely no color correction. I've got a theory: about the Buffy/Angel theme(s) I've noticed three different themes throu out Buffy S2 & 3: The "Open Your Eyes" theme, the "Spike My Boy (why is this cue named that way???)"/"Dreaming Of" theme and the one that was used from Amends to Gradiuation Day, Part 2 CD2, Track 8, at 03:10. All these themes using the same flute kinda instrument. It's just barely a theme and more a motif. I know there is another one in Graduation Day (CD2, Track 8, at 2:45, played on oboe) but I have no idea how it works so I ignore it. Here my theory: The "Open Your Eyes" theme is the Buffy/Angel relationship as is. She's the Vampire Slayer in love with a Vampire and he can't love her back because he would loose his soul. The "Dreaming Of" theme is the theme for the relationship that could've been if both where normal people. It appeared only in dreaming sequences of them (Innocence at 26:18 and Amends at 21:59) I hoped that we would get more "dreaming of" material in Angel 1x08 because it would perfectly fit here. But instead we got another new piano theme. It was most likely too difficult to adapt for this scene.

Considering buying this set with the upcoming restock, samples sound good! Is there anything missing from this set that is on the old score album from Rounder Records?

Considering buying this set with the upcoming restock, samples sound good! Is there anything missing from this set that is on the old score album from Rounder Records? From the Rounder CD you need to keep the track: 5. Moment Of Happiness (From "Innocence") This is more an alternate version of the LLL track "Spike My Boy" (which is the film version). The title "Spike My Boy" makes no sense in the LLL box. It has nothing to do with that scene, lol! So I have renamed it to "Moment Of Happiness" and then tagged the track from the Rounder CD as "Moment of Happiness (Alternate)" Thank you for all this! I'm on the fence about dishing out for the Rounder release cause it fetches a somewhat high price on eBay, but we'll see. I assume the album, "Once More, With Feeling" is a stand alone release?

No problem! The one track on the Rounder release is a stunning version of the Buffy/Angel love theme! I would have bought a CD just to have it, but then again, I am obsessed with this love theme (its the theme that got me into score in general) so I might not be the right person to listen to! haha! But the Once More With Feeling OST is a stand alone release, yes. You wont find any of the music from this episode anywhere else, except the bonus suites from The Gift, Hush and Restless
